The shitty ballad was hilarious. Speaking of music, I've noticed most of the compositions this season are arrangements of the Sailor Moon R movie score. Not that I'm whining since that had a bitching soundtrack!
Yuichirou episodes are the best. He's seriously my favourite character in the show. He has a youthful bravado that is just wonderful to look at, and his play-off with Rei also brings her character under a different light. So, yeah this is probably the best episode since Haruka and Michiru's introduction! Not that this didn't have its fair share of cousins being cousins.

So this time we're introduced to underwater Arm Slaves! These units are called Leviathans, and are not to be confused with the Laevatein. This episode we see Sousuke almost confess to himself that he loves Kaname, and we learn that Mr. Mardukas was once a Cold Warrior known as The Duke. He activates this transformation by turning his hat around backwards! Yes that's dumb but its also the most light hearted move Mr. Mardukas is ever going to pull. If this show did not receive rave reviews at the time of its release, I have no words to express my surprise. This show is already a goddamn visual masterpiece, and the Count comes off as so incredibly sinister, yet charismatically magnetic at the same time.
Oh yes, I will enjoy this.
And is it just me, or does it seem like Franz is gay for Albert? He took that "What are you, my girlfriend?" barb just a wee bit too personally.

Why would you stop no.6? Pretty good and suspenseful the whole way through with a huge scene near then end. Return to it please. Blast of Tempest is good too.
I hope aniplex america gives it the same sao treatment.

Be prepared for god awful quality cgi that you will still love. It waaaas weird. Somehow it fit the series despite the quality of it... Fantastic series.

Too bad we'll never get proper HD version of Gankutsuou. Though maybe it's best not to see that PS1 level CG in higher detail.

We get a demonstration of the Black Nose, which is certainly a reminder of the Dark Gauntlet from Heartcatch, which then proceeds to wreck the shit out of the Cures. Amazing that their Princess forms became useless immediately.
No "power ups" for the Cure this episode, but we demonstrate Pheonix Candy which converted the black nose into a red nose. I can see where too many upgrades was an issue. Considering Princess Form became useless pretty fast could suggest they we'll have another one in about 10 episodes or so... or maybe more since there's 16 decors to color again. 15 more episodes of Decors would leave us on.... 46 unless they resort to Super Akanbes for some reason

Black Noses don't amount to much anymore.
I do not get Yellow Noses, as they feel like the most pointless one of all the Noses used so far, but that's because we were never given a clear explanation of what it does. It has only been used twice, and against one Cure, so maybe it's for Solo Fights only? Implying it might be very weak or something?

If it can remain this enjoy then I dont mind this filler miniarc lasting three parts or even more. No more kon kon kon kono though, as its really annoying especially with Yota's voice or even just crying Yota. Kid part 1 characters are still rather entertaining and fun and even if theres no jutsu action going on, just seeing them interacting is good enough. Naruto did have fun days after all, if only they could have got flowery Sasuke too.

IIRC, red noses are created from one Decor, blue noses are just bad energy, black noses are created from multiple Decors, and Yellow noses are created from the Decor box. But, yes, they really don't seem special compared to the other types regarding fighting ability.
I'd guess they're above red and blue noses (considering how Happy faced a yellow nose rather than one of the commanders), but don't have blue noses' immunity to the Cures' standard beam attacks and are weaker than black noses.

Red Demon also brings back a familiar monster with the abilities of controlling movement since the monster was a camera, but I think because of that, it allowed for Candy to be useful in the moment of battle. I should commend her for being able to do so without being a power up of sorts, but she's still pretty useful anyway, which is more than what I could say for Coco and Nuts in Yes!
Pop is a spotlight hog, but he's been neglected for some time now, so it's nice that they threw him a bone.
