"Future of Final Fantasy conference recap" on Wednesday? God, if it weren't because I have exams all of next week, I'd be dying of excitement. Too bad I have crappy crappy exams that I can't get my mind off.

I really, really want Versus. But honestly, I'm a bit nervous that it won't show - even with all the reasurrance. Or rather, I'm nervous it won't be shown to the public, and only be talked about in the recap with no footage. Wouldn't it steal XIV's thunder if it were shown? Wouldn't that be suicide, since they're wanting to drag as much money through XIV as possible?

Isn't ARR having a separate event of its own there? Producer Letters on the livestream have nothing to do with conference/future of FF as far as I know.

What I mean is, they're trying to build hype and focus on XIV, so announcing Versus - which most everyone has been clamouring for for 7 years - at the same conference might draw attention completely away from it, since then every journalist wants to ask them about Versus instead of XIV. Maybe. I don't know. Kagari, swoop in and give us an enigmatic haiku in which you quell my fears.

You should have known better than to diss Dragon Quest for being outdated/archaic/etc while Aeana is around.

As for Versus/XV, as long as they show it in a substantive capacity (no screenshots, no "please wait a little longer" bullshit; I need some actual new footage), I'll be fine.

Nothing in the schedule for it. It looked pretty early in development, so I wont expect anything for a while now.
