So, what's the spread on Matsuno having been removed from FFXII?

"I'm back!"

Uh...wasn't Chains of Promathia already released?

Yes, but they still want to promote it. It's not that unusual for already released games to be featured at E3.

Whatever! Bring on the Polymorphic Content!!!

Except for Hexcite Fusion (which I've never heard of), nothing new and how is any of this a suprise at all? -_- If anything, I was hoping for something fantastical we hadn't heard of yet.

I'm really looking forward the new FFXII demo,Mastuno has to show what they have done during the year that has passed.
Also I'd like a few surprises, especially on the PSP front but usually Square Enix E3 lineups have rarely differed from their official pre-E3 list,sadly....

Its the only title that doesn't ring a bell. Any info? A sequel to Internal Section perhaps?
There was a GBA near launch game called Space Hexcite EX from Jourdan. Maybe it's a series?

Wasn't FFXII already playable on last year's E3? Why are some people surprised to see it playable again? Or even surprised that it's on PS2?

Squareenix where's our damn PSP GAMES?!?!?!
Isn't BC:FFVII a PSP game? Or is it that mobile phone game?

Final Fantasy fans have been waiting to hear about FFXII, the game has been under wraps since E3 2004. I am sure this is a partial list; they will probably have some surprises there as well. Also, Grandia III is not on that list.

that it was moved to xbox 360 is a joke.

No that's a cell phone game, the PSP game is called Crisis Core.

It's...

-Advent Children (DVD/UMD movie)
-Before Crisis (mobile RPG)
-Crisis Core (PSP ARPG)
-Dirge of Cerebrus (PS2 action game)

... no doubt this list is just placeholder since it's missing some notables (including any DS or PSP games, many of which were already confirmed for US release).

heh. While I don't think Matsuno has been moved, I fully expect whatever demo they have at E3 to be a different FFXII than the one from last E3...hopefully for the better and not worse.

agreed, this guy only worked on FFX right? The game was too linear, I hope he gets fired or something. :|

He was only a producer on FFX (your boy Sakaguchi was an executive producer on that also). He's co directed FF6 and Chrono Trigger and directed FF7 and FF8.

What's funny is that all of these were at TGS last year too :/

The lucky Japanese got their games, what did we get? FFX2! yuck. I just want release dates for DQ8, Radiata Stories, Grandia III and FFXII.

This is great news, I really happy. Can't wait for the May 16 Square Enix PC :D

Well to be fair about 40% of them have been released since then and of course this isn't listing the new 'secret' projects that will be announced at the show.

So it's not like nothing's happening at SE.

No FFIII? :(

Despite exciting announcements around the time of the DS launch, FFIII doesn't actually exist right now outside of a bullet point on fanboy forum lists.

Promise in haste, repent at leisure...

P.S. Thanks for inspiring Rez!

Crisis Core isn't even listed in the PR. :(

Hopefully that simply means they are waiting til E3 to unveil it.

Might be too early still, the game only started concept 6 months ago iirc. More worrying would be the lack of DS announcements imo, especially as Egg Monster Heroes is rumored to release pretty soon and FFCC was expected this fall. Though maybe Nintendo's asked SE to hold off on revealing their DS lineup.

Why is it the best news all day? Didnt we know all these were coming at this point anyway? Ever since the merger, they made it pretty explicit they'd be releasing most all of their RPGs in America. Maybe if there were some dates listed next to them, then this would be an exciting list.. but this isn't particularly exciting as far as I'm concerned.

Like said before it's exciting because of Final Fantasy XII, which was last shown at E3 2004. I am sure they will announce release dates for their games at E3.

Was there ANY doubt that FFXII would be at E3 in some form or another? If nothing else, they would have made sure to have the demo from last year, but it would have had a presence for certain.
