Can you imagine which score SRS could have if 3DO decided to complete the entire game in first place ????? Wooooow, spooky.... :D

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. God only knows how bad this game would have turned out had it been released a year ago by 3DO. Poor Namco could only do so much. I'm guessing they aren't losing that much on this since they got most of the code from 3DO.

7.1 isn't too bad, but the racing genre is very competitive this year. Especially if your trying to be a modern street racing game. One down and three to go...

The whole 30-60 FPS RE4 thread is scratching my head right now. It's like I'm visualizing every E3 demos I've played and start seeing witch game runned at 60 fps. I'm about 99% sure RE4 runs at 30 fps locked.

And I'm sure that Timesplitters 3 and Outrun 2.0 runs at a rock solid 15 fps ! LOL ! Just joking. It's kinda late you know.....

I was hoping that with NAMCO taking up the publishing rights they'd make sure this game turned out right. It really did look like a good racer.

The year of racing games is fading away...

If 3DO published it when it originally would have, it would have probably scored mid-high eights. Why, you ask? Because it would have been a fresh idea.

...and you know what, Need for Speed Underground wouldn't have sold half as well if it were beaten to the punch. :P

True, it seemed like 3DO was ready to have this game out over a year ago. I don't know about that last comment though. It might be possible that the public was ready to jump on any game that tried the street racing THANG. The genre is just too crowded this year and SRS doesn't have the goods to compete. Beating NFS:U to the punch would have changed things a lot though, both in possible sales and scores.

Maybe.... but the videos 3DO released of this game looked like ass...

Can't believe this, considering the blind lust that gamers have any EA related.

It's rumored to be delayed. If GT4 does make it, then that'll make up for the racers that didn't turn out to be what they were said to be.
Really?? I don't have a PS2, but I recognize how it would suck.

Shit...I was hoping this game to be great...It was acclaimed at E3...Now I understand that it wasn't acclaimed but overhyped by IGN...
I am tired of IGN/Gamespot/whaterver publication overhyping games that they later review as shit...
