I missed part of the Star Trek trailer, as it was the first trailer played. I work at a theater, so I'm thinking I can sneak a peek any time I want anyway.

What I saw was pretty cool. Don't remember much though.

I saw the 8 minute preview at AMC in an IMAX 3D showing.

I was impressed. It's going to be a beautiful movie. I got a lot of classic Star Trek vibes from the part we were shown.

I really hope Kirk & Spock's friendship is more than just Kirk pushing Spock's buttons.

Also not sure what the TOS prime directive was but TNG one included not interfering in natural disasters.

Watched the footage. I actually thought the first, slow minutes in London were the most intriguing and interesting. The set piece left me somewhat cold, the usual overbearing JJ Abrams stuff.

Newcomers will probably go WTF at that, I don't think the Prime Directive was even mentioned in the 2009 movie iirc.

Amazing prologue. Just totally thrusts you into the story while reacquainting you with everyone. Loved it.
