Star Wars Hunters shutting down October 1st

The game is a mobile Star Wars hero shooter that ran really good on phones, but ran like DOG SHIT on the Switch. The problem is they waited way too long to try to bring it to PC (it was in Steam beta recently) and didn't bring it at all to the bigger consoles.

Despite the horrible performance on the Switch it was fun in quick bursts as the matches were fast.

It's unfortunate, I really don't care for mobile games, but it was pretty fun for what it was. I was pretty hyped about the PC port.

Game definitely wasn't marketed well, and not launching on multiple platforms day 1 didn't do it any favors.

I downloaded this I believe on mobile (with controller input) and didn't really like its mechanics for some reason (only gave it less than an hour,) maybe it gets better when you get good but it didn't connect with me.

That said, I hope this isn't bad news for the developer; this is what's left of NaturalMotion, the company that made the Euphoria physics system for GTA and Star Wars TFU; they also made Backbreaker Football on consoles and CSR Racing & Clumsy Ninja on mobile. There's been plenty of change for that team since its heyday, and their middleware days of powering top-flight physics experiments ended long ago (aside from Clumsy Ninja, they kind of gave up on showcasing physics as a gameplay highlight,) but I still hope for the best of this crew.

Very fun on switch but the performance KILLED it for me. It got to the point where it's unfair to play against mobile and PC because how more precise they are.

How can you be injecting so much ressource and time into developing a Star Wars branded competitive game and not think about optimizing the experience at ALL?

I've literally never heard of this and now it's shutting down.

That might be indicative of part of the problem.
