Star wars jedi survivor (combat stances trailer)

Looks so fucking good.

That heavy style lightsaber throw...

Still, I scratch my head at that occasional dismemberment feature. I get it, if each hit was a dismemberment hit, game would be a one-hit show, but at the same time makes the lightsaber look like a baseball bat. Just got cope with it, I guess.

I'm gonna go with the Leonardo Turtle stance I reckon. Or saber/pistol

It's not for gameplay reasons, it's because of disney.

You have dismemberment in robots and alien humanoids but not actual humans.

Looks just like the previous game.

Jedi Academy still remains the best Star Wars lightsaber game to this day IMO.

At 4:13 you can actually see dismemberment on humans though :goog_unsure:

Well shit, i didin't watched the video yet but in the past trailer there was no dismemb on humans.

They finally give up on making a light saber look like an electric baton.

P.s it still looks very rare and random, still pretty meh.

I hope I live long enough to see games, respectively the hardware they run on, get to a point where the actual physical interaction between weapons can be brought into the mix. This looks great, but you better don`t pay attention to how a lot of the interactions, especially the counters, actually don´t connect and instead only interact with some rather crude invisible forcefields aka hitboxes.

Crossguard Stance looks wildly stupid and a matter of a committee going "Ok, how do we get a 'heavy attack' style in this?"

. . . also, really silly to not just go the Jedi Fighting Style route instead of calling them stances in reference to the light saber. Just all reads gamey to me. Which isn't bad but just could have been done better (like how Yakuza 0 does it).

Looking really fun. The additions sound great.

I guess my memory was a little off on the first game. Didn't remember some of the animations looking that weird. Not a huge deal though; had a lot of fun with the first game.
