Totally agreed. His roleclaim is about as falsifiable as we're gonna get, so if his pal doesn't show up I'm probably voting for him. Not to mention he's clearly the most insane among us.Worthy and his buddy need to claim today imo. If he doesn't then worthy is the obvious detain target. If they do, I don't think they're in immediate risk of a mafia kill due to A) killing one would flip the info confirming the other B) masons are pretty low value targets early game when a doc / cop could still be out there.
I can't think of a reason not to do this as it will confirm two rebels and keep us from wasting a day detaining another rebel.
Great! I would prefer if your partner came out without your help, though. If you two are some sort of Hutt lovers, I don't want you coordinating your stories. Ball's in your court, Mystery Man.I will be able to reveal my partner but I will wait for a better time when we are both active.

Third, TWE's bullshit MIGHT be a Hutt ruse, but if he was going to lie and coordinate, he could have done it in Mafia chat. I still think he's a neutral protecting someone else that may or may not be Town. He MIGHT be the imperial spy like Swamped, and is hoping for a Hutt to cover for him now. He did try and protect her yesterday to some degree.
First, I fucking told you bastards not to lynch exmachina, and now we've lost an incredible role. Seriously consider the fact that we may not have a Guard/Doc anymore, and with LoC dead as well, we may be out of extra killing roles.
I'm going to say redhood56 is as confirmed rebel as you can be right now based on something he said, but I don't want to say why right now.
This is a possibility, but it's easily proven by detaining one of them.
Even outside of the whole "I'm mafia" thing, ex really misplayed yesterday. He could have very easily said "I can prove I'm a rebel tonight" and given someone a shield. That person could have confirmed him since there's no reason for mafia to have that role. I know we said no role claims Day 1, but it sucks that a player who was too inexperienced to realize his role was an exception to that rule when faced with certain detainment (since it is confirmable) took the fall. I'm not saying this to disparage him, because it's understandable to not understand that level of strategy on your first go. I hope ex joins us again next game, as I think he could be a good player now that he understands it a bit better.
traube, I'm going to buy a lottery ticket later, what should my numbers be?
Is this the post? http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=164589789&postcount=647Want to respond to this, before anything else. Could not so on Day 1. So this has nothing to do with anything that happened during the night.
I agree with you. redhood56 is a Rebel in my book. Quite sure about that. Same goes for you, because I assume you came to that conclusion the same way I did.
So I'd suggest that we three form a circle of trust. Maybe vote together as long as we are alive.
Should one of us be Empire this would of course bite us all in the ass.

Agreed. I also want to know if they are alignment confirmed or not.
brofist. Did you notice johnny too?Want to respond to this, before anything else. Could not so on Day 1. So this has nothing to do with anything that happened during the night.

I'm specifically worried about the Hutt power roles. Exmachine's role seemed insanely powerful and the Hutts surely have something good to match it.I wonder how many power roles we have left. A lot of you seem to be claiming Ordinary Rebel now. I need to look back at the swing votes that got put in for exmachina
Actually, let's walk this through:
1) worthy and swamped were buddies, he now knows he's screwed. What does he do?
A) Lie and say his partner doesn't want to come forward, in which case we policy detain him.
B) pray a hutt claims to be his buddy which would be unnecessarily risky since he could be telling the truth. If they did take this gambit, us detaining one would immediately incriminate the other.
2) Worthy is hutt, and his claim was a last minute save. What does he do?
A) another hutt steps forward, if we feel one is suspicious, we detain one and then the other.
B) Hutts are already down one, leave him out to dry rather than risk 2 more. We detain him.
3) Worthy is telling the truth. What does he do?
A) Other mason comes forward, we detain worthy to confirm
B) Other mason comes forward, we trust them unless they raise suspicion.
C) Other mason does not come forward for some reason. We detain worthy, and likely can't confirm the other mason if the name is redacted from the flip.
4) worthy is 3P. What does he do?
A) he is an assassin with a target. why would the target come forward or know who he is? We detain him.
B) He is meant to protect a rebel, in which case why would he be 3p? and if he was, he isn't dangerous, so...
C) known unknown
I've certainly been wrong before, but I just don't see 4) being an option. As much as I love the possibility of LoC going out in a blaze of glory, that last minute case on worthy made very little sense. Palmer setup specs a role I've never seen before (but not out of the question), and then worthy just happens to be that role and scum slips? Like that would be quite a coincidence. I don't think we should get too caught up with that idea unless someone has evidence. 1-3 are far more likely.
Maybe worthy should say his buddy's name first to prevent 1B and guarantee 2A?
I'm specifically worried about the Hutt power roles. Exmachine's role seemed insanely powerful and the Hutts surely have something good to match it.
I agree about 1-3. I think 4th is MORE possible than you do, but still least likely. I did list a few neutral roles that are possible, and as for being ones you haven't seen before, note that before this game started, I did help mattyG brainstorm a bit in the general mafia thread. I assume he would make changes, but you get the idea. Also, TWE himself posted immediately after me with more specific neutral possibilities. If Swamped hadn't died, I would assume 4th option and still be trying to lynch him.
Swamped dying effectively undoes our mislynch yesterday, so there's that.
.
lol. two power roles gone, the armorer lynched just for fun and you're still defending it.
At least LoC seems to have been able to successfully use his power before he was taken out.
He was a likely target last night. So it makes sense that he used his power already.
This is of course assuming that there is a serial killer this time around. Granted it's a very common role, but there are no guarantees.Don't forget the SK - I'd be surprised if only the Hutts could kill townies at night.
We only had to deaths tonight and one kill was performed by a pro-town role, so either the "SK" didn't attack (which would be weird) or he hit a target with immunity (three actions, three power roles as targets... wtf?). Or LoC didn't kill, but the SK did.
No,but you can paraphrase it.So. For those that want to see my role, you shall. First, am I allowed to copy the message MattyG sent me and paste it?
Also having two sets of bad guys makes getting data from voting trickier. 2 were talking and then however many in the other group were talking separately. So who knows how they split those votes up.
Also worthy does your role pm specifically say you're BOTH confirmed rebels
Masons are supposed to be thought of as confirmed town. While it is not unheard of for there to be mafia masons, like jesters, it is considered a bad move for a game modererator to have one. Also worthy does your role pm specifically say you're BOTH confirmed rebels
This is of course assuming that there is a serial killer this time around. Granted it's a very common role, but there are no guarantees.
NOOOOOOO, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!?!!!?No BUT if I die then he dies, and vice versa.
Very good point. The role pm doesn't say anything about the recruiting or the faction kill. I wonder what would happen if we got all of the other group before the last spy?Actually as far as I'm aware, most spy roles don't have a separate forum, besides the rile PK didin't have the 'your thread is here' clause that the scum roles usually have. Now often times a spy can be recruited by the main group, but I'm not sure if that is applicable in this case either.
NOOOOOOO, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!?!!!?
I imagine the "detain" flavor made him think that it doesn't apply to lynches.Wait worthy you said yesterday if you die we should protect your buddy. Now you're lovers?
On my iPad so I can't find it
