Let's do the math. 1977. If they're doing the every other year thing with the new trilogy, then we're looking at 2019 for the final movie of the new trilogy?
42 years.
So if someone was 25 in 1977, that means they'll be 67 years old or so to see all 9 movies at release. My goodness.
Think about that small slice of people who realistically will be around to see all 9 come out. You had to have been born between like 1950-1973 to have a hope in hell of doing it.

Theaters around here have been having 10PM showings for like a year now, and recently started doing 8PM showings for some things. It's nice to have earlier showings, but kind of sucks 'cause it takes away some of the energy the midnight showing crowds had.

Star Wars is too big.. There are a million other people involved JJ can't just run the show. He is there for directing competency but lucasfilm and everyone else is pouring their soul into this.
