The best gear in game is crafted. You just have to do Hardmode Ops/FPs to get the mats/schems.
Oh that's nice, didn't know that yet. Then everyone's happy =)
Thank you !

Given how easy it is to make money, BOP is probably for the best. Most of it is BoP to be the given crafting profession's perk. Even then, they're only better b/c you can Crit on them for an Augment slot.
Tell me about it.
From slicing (which if you beleive the offical forum poster is working GREAT!... yeah right)
to Biochem, to gathering (I used to farm droids, was nice in addition to the nodes) now to Surge... It's the nerfing wheel allright.
So far my Jedi Sage(Balance) and my Trooper(Commando) managed to evade most of the negativity of patches... Let's hope it continues that way. On another note, I am still waiting for craftskills to be made more usefull. More tanking gear woudn't hurt (especially mods, barrels, hilts) and something to go toe-to-toe with PvP gear, at least on some pieces.
Trooper/BH and Sage/Sorc are next to get nerfs, sorc/sage nerf is practically confirmed at this point.
I think Sorc's/Sages are more in need of a nerf than Troopers/BH's. The latter are far easier to lock down due to their reliance on only one more.
Will be interesting to see how they go about it regardless. I'd rather see buffs to other classes rather than nerfs. Like that'll happen though. Biowares answer to everything so far has been nerf.

I wish we could dye our champion gear, tired of being a cookie cutter shadow looking like all the other 50 shadows on the server.
You can also RE them to get upgrafed versions, and then crit the upgraded versions
To my knowledge, that's not correct. You RE these things and you get the error message "There's no information about that item" and you don't even get any materials. I've tried it.
pvp ruins mmos.
Haven't there been mmos that had separate abilities descriptions and functions for skills pvp vs pve?
Yup, and its funny since this game kinda has that with abilities like guard which have pvp specific functions listed aside from its pve usage. Would be much better if they simply added to current abilities some different functionality for use against enemy players. They did it already with that, keep doing it!

You will always be stuck with lvl 50 armoring when the champ gear is rated 56.Why I look forward to being able to take out the bonuses from purple gear to allow the use our orange gear. Like my current look, rather just keep what I put together.
Weird, ive heard from someone else who tried it and they said it worked.
Torhead also has data bout the upgraded versions.
What item did you try it with?

Both Energized and Xenotech Sage gear, also Rakata Belt and Bracers 10+ times (these actually RE correctly and give mats back, but no new patterns learned). Haven't RE'd any Dalarian War Leader's Belts yet. Those fuckers are expensive.
There is no upgraded version of a crafted rakata piece. There is only crit crafting to add an augment slot. Whoever told you that was obviously talking about green/blue gear being upgraded when REing it. Torhead's database is completely worthless, its filled with tons of things from beta that no longer exist anymore. Along with things that are impossible at the moment like Orange armor with augment slots.
Popped on pub side tonight. There was like a handful ppl on. Busy Thursday?
No, unfortunately it should just automatically work if that was actually your problem.Milly79 said:Edit- Nope, unless there's something I must do to enable it?

OP nerf: check
Assassin nerf: check

I've been hit with ever nerf so far. Last night I started a Juggernaut. Sorry Juggs
Enter WZ, character floats up above the map.

Yeah. I love my heals trooper, but I don't feel like I have any advantages. No in-combat revive, AOE only heals 3 people for ~1k (assuming you have all the perks), we only have one instant heal (~1.5k) on a 20 second cool down. We have great resource management, but doing any DPS skills will kill our ammo. Due to the cast nature of our spells, we also have to stand still, making it difficult for bosses with AOE. We're also of no use during the fall against Soa.
I wouldn't worry. They said they wanted to make JK/SW's better, so assume they are just nerfing everything and everyone until eventually the JK/SW's will be awesome.
Simoon: Will you be adding the option to choose what Warzone you enter a queue for?
Gabe Amatangelo: Not until we introduce cross server queuing. If we were to allow players to choose their Warzone before they could queue across servers, then it would negatively affect how often every player would see a Warzone and for every player that loves a certain Warzone there is another player that hates it. The population would end up divided by their Warzone choice, negatively affecting the time it would take for a specific Warzone to become available for anyone. With cross server queuing we will still have a preference to match players of the same server, but those players who choose specific preferences such as these will likely end up in a match with players in the larger Wargroup.
There you go, straight from the horses mouth. Doesn't say when, but it's pretty clear that it's coming.
So... I still have no clue wtf the legacy system is .
What gameplay differences are there for races anyways?
