C64
Amiga
PC
Although I'd owned computers before the C64 in the ZX81 and Dragon32, the C64 has always held a special place for me.
I own 5 of them that I've repaired. I also have about 8 1541 drives.
So much so that I've even bought the new one from Perifractic.
Onto the games though.. My two personal favourites were boulderdash and it's many sequels and variants including the construction kit. I was playing this just yesterday on my Rog xbox ally x via batocera.
Raid over Moscow was a fun little arcade shooter split into 3 parts. Get your ship out of the station mini game. Sideways shooter then for the final bit launch bazookas at the Kremlin.
Turrican Ii on the Amiga was the quintessential shooter. That incredible title screen music... The gameplay... and all packed into one 880k floppy
Moving onto PC the half life opening sequence was something special that had not been seen before.
But half life 2 ... That intro makes the hairs on my arms stand up thinking about it.. so whenever I see that title screen it falls back to "oh my god. What an experience". So many firsts. Big semi open world you have to drive through.... Gravity gun.... Head crabs.
Minecraft - I drop out of it for ages.... Then it's let's just create a new world... Which turns into Several days later.
It's also a game I played with my kids and occasionally still do even now they're adults. Timeless game
