I'm guessing it's already "done", but now SE has send it to Q&A. They are known for quality PC titles, and making sure it runs well on all kinds of PC and has the kinds of features their loyal PC fans appreciate.

Either that or someone has forgot to press the "release" button. The next fiscal year starts on April, so once they realize FF IX has 0 sales on PC they will check up on it.

Umh, on Android today was the last day the game was discounted, I thought to see at least a date or something like that today for the PC release, since this is the last week of February.

Anyway I started Road to Gehenna, it's NOTHING like the base game. It's so hard I barely solved the first room by myself. And I thought I was good, since excluding for stars, I managed to beat Talos by myself. But the DLC really seems worked to induce frustration into the players.

is it a visual novel?

can't watch, at work

i sure hope not

but honestly after how shit the second season and the movie of psycho-pass were i dunno if i should bother
I only have the last episode from the second season left to watch. I don't think it's bad, just not as good as the first one.

Yup.

I'm staying away from it.

gross

what can i say, it's bad, it's super hurried with like half the episodes, a cookie cutter villain and boring new characters, nothing interesting happens to any of the old characters (gino just gets forgotten and akane is like ok i take up smoking) and it stops being cerebral and just goes super pulpy

i mean psycho pass season 1 wasn't like the deepest show ever but at least it made you believe it was

yeah season 2 is terrible

the movie is less terrible but it's still terrible

Can't speak for Psycho Pass, but anime VN spinfoffs are usually cash-ins.
That said, it's by 5pb, so maybe it's decent.

Yeah, that's true, it takes away most of the depth the first season had. I'm sincerely pissed about Gino being left aside.

holy shit, my computer scared the crap out of me just a few minutes ago!
You know, you could've said what happened instead of saying that so I had to ask.

I believe 5pb was involved in the anime itself. Just like how Punchline is made by 5pb, and is getting a VN version. Also the whole VNs based on anime just for cashins, works in the reverse too. :p

I didn't even get that far because of that damn god villain.

More cyberpunk police procedural goodness? Sweet. Given this screenshot and this blurb, I'm pretty sure this is another visual novel.

Psycho-Pass-Mandatory-Happiness_2016_02-22-16_003.jpg

The player can choose between two new detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Department’s Division 1; Nadeshiko Kugatachi, a calm and serious Inspector whose memories were wiped, and Takuma Tsurugi, a hot-headed Enforcer who is searching for his missing childhood friend.

You must decide the best course of action for each given situation, but regardless of the hierarchy that separates Inspector from Enforcer, players must be mindful that every decision has its own repercussions. With an intricate decision-making system, Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness offers a twisted plot and compelling cases, providing a number of different endings. Ultimately, depending on the choices made, Hues may deteriorate beyond recovery, cases may be left unsolved, and the game may end quicker than expected.

Also, I know that Season 2 is complete trash, but that's no reason to post massive spoilers Annubis!

i got the catgirl game from saoirse just to prevent other ppl from getting it

i'm looking out for y'all

Aww but I'm tempted to get it :/
So far as Psycho Pass goes I should just watch season 1 and call it a day right?
yeah

Yeah, that's true, it takes away most of the depth the first season had. I'm sincerely pissed about Gino being left aside.
let's be real, there's some really dumb stuff in season 1, but makishima is such a cool villain and the three way relationship between him, akane and whatshishotnessname works really well and the immediate supporting cast (gino, old cop dude who's name i can't remember, chinese hacker dude) are also really fun characters

you get to see a lot of how that world operates, from like clothes and online games and chatrooms and internet celebrities, all that stuff

and it's got like such a fucking awesome second op

so while i wouldn't say it's particularly deep or thought provoking, it's just a fun show that's just filled with style and confidence and just really fun to watch overall even when it's unnecessarily morbid. like some of the side stories i thought were super bad and i think the gun blowing ppl up is like for marketing purposes only but u know

Another episode for zky :D

i play mages/assassins so my champions never get any love ;_;

I didn't even get that far because of that damn god villain.
i'd spoilertag that for ppl's sake

psycho-pass is not that old

Hm, maybe we should post our purchasing regrets with some explanations.

I'll start. Instead of an i5-4690K, I got a non-K 4690. I deeply regret it. Would have cost me only a measly 20€ more. CPU OC is fairly simple and safe to a certain extent and I feel dumb having given up free* extra juice.
Never bought a CPU off the used market, so I'm not optimistic on selling mine in the future for a compatible K version i5 or i7.
Regret.

There are new screenshots of DOOM at Gamersyde.

Which reminds me of the idtech engine and that reminds me of a question regards Wolfenstein New Order.
The uncensored version is not available or even startable from Germany. Say, I try playing that version via family sharing/using Steam account from a friend who lives in a country where the uncensored version is available, will I be able to start and play it in Germany?

I regret not getting low profile RAM for my first PC build.

I didn't know any better and my CPU cooler blocks the A slots so my RAM is in B1 and B2 right now :(

Makishima is so awesome.
I liked the premise of the show, about the Sybil system and
how someone can bypass it. The crumble of the society build by Sybil made me watch the show. I knew about it because my girlfriend was watching it and I saw how Makishima kills Akame's friend.
That inmediately caught my attention and I started watching the anime.
I really liked the moral and philosophical points of the anime. That's what makes you think, and it's clever for it.
Day one if they include this as a bonus:

I wanted one a long time ago. I have two 1TB HDD aside from the 4TB and they had around 100Gb of free space altogether.
It is being a pain, though. My library hasn't finished moving to the other HDD yet, and for some reason there are a few filees that refuse to move. I will check if I can fix it.

I bought a big hard drive a couple years ago and don't regret it. About half of it right now are all the movie files for my Plex server (which I really need to move to some kind of NAS, I would be devastated if that drive ever failed) and the other half are Steam games though.

The only thing I would change is now that the costs are down I will probably jump on 500gb SSD deal for gaming. Been seeing a lot of deals lately and am getting close to grabbing one.

I'm finding that on a lot of newer games its helping a lot with performance. Right now I only have a 128gb SSD so I only have room for 1 game at a time.

I'm having a 1TB, 300GB, 1TB, 4TB HDD, 250GB SSD and a 6TB NAS, and all of it is almost full and in the reds on windows finder. I'm struggling for space and can't wait to add another 4TB. May can't come soon enough.

WTF? How can you have so much space and all of it full? What are you doing? Stop downloading so much porn, man.

The games are a direct sequel to the books.
Of course they're not considered canon by the author but they do a great job, especially considering the unsatisfying conclusion the last book gave us.

Check the OP of the community thread for everything you need to know:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=989969

We put a ton of work into it but the mods decided to move it to community on the very day it was posted which of course worked out great.

I thought the games were a 1:1 recreation of the books, and not a sequel. On that part I'm confused, but I see there are 9 books, wow. I really hope they are deep and good in a way I can get sucked into its world and characters.

That and games and my Bluray collection that I ripped, so I could put them away in the stock room (or what you call it in English).

yeah i didn't really found it that deep but i liked it a lot mostly cos it had cool character designs and cool interactions between characters in general

The people need to know that it's bullshit.
Kind of like I wish someone would have told me Star Wars the Phantom Menace was bullshit.
well it's still spoilers and there's better ways to alert ppl of how shit it is

I've been told they're. I wanted to read them before starting the games, so I borrowed books 1 and 2 from a friend, but I can't find when to read.
They're not exactly sequels, SPOILER
because I've been told that Geralt dies in the last one,
they happen in between as a side story to the books. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
