You can get it for as little as $1 from the current Humble Bundle. With your avatar, it would seem you definitely need to play it.

I played it on 360 when it came out, and dug it outside of the RTS sections (like everyone else).

The recent patch only messed with the fps unlocker, you can disable it to get the game and mod running again. If you want 60 back (I don't blame you), reddit has you covered.

I can also vouch for this fix working perfectly and have no effect on the online functionality.
