Hm I installed Steam on Fedora 20 beta last week and was surprised how smooth everything was and how all the games (well the ones that run on Linux) worked fine, since i've always had problems with Fedora before....
Steam runs on Fedora (and by extension RedHat) now?
I remember trying before, but I could only find Debian Packages...
Guys DmC, Castlevania or Darksiders 2?
They're all decent in their own way. (Disclaimer: I own all 3 on steam but only have completed DmC on PC. Castlevania and Darksiders 2 were platinumed on PS3.)
Out of the 3, I probably liked Darksiders 2 the most, but it's got a lot of extra elements in it that the other 2 don't have -- so it depends on if you want some Zelda-eque elements like dungeon exploration and puzzle solving as well as the idea of "loot".
Castlevania was a decent ride that was all over the map -- it's a pretty game that suffered from poor framerate (on consoles). At 60fps, it may be better than I remember. It's like a God of War game with some Uncharted-type climbing/platforming (but with the possibility of death).
DmC was surprisingly decent for being developed by NT. I think the Capcom influence on the combat shows, but it's not quite the DMC you remember... at times it almost feels like a musou and the lack of a lock on can get *really* aggravating. The Vergil's Downfall DLC was a little generic, but the character was different enough to play as that it was fun overall.
Gonna think about it. But what's the event?
Worst thing is that Steam automatically logged in and if I quit it or I turn off/restart my computer it won't start up automativally for some reason. It was probably a bug that made Steam start up automatically.
If I turn it off, I won't be able to log in because the mail service I used with my account is dead, so I can't recover password or anything.
Instead of trying to get Steam to transfer games (which was said to be a resounding no by JaSec I think), can't you ask Steam to help you update the account's email address or something?
I know, I know, we're crazy. But hey, we want people to pick up the game at a price they're sure to be happy with. Cheers all.
Ben
I've completed the first 3 chapters on Vita and the game seems like it's pretty unique/interesting if you're into adventure games. Didn't know it was coming to Steam.
