So I just have 3 achievements left for Fallout: New Vegas and I was thirsty as fuck for some more open-world goodness after Ass Flags 4 and Far Cry 3 so I decided to do the final run.

I thought I'd just work on it casually.... and then I pumped 4 hours into it yesterday. Game is still so good. After pumping like 130 hours into it previously, it feels like returning home. This will definitely be one of my most cherished 100%s.

Hardcore is the best. I still haven't played it non-hardcore.

It's really a poorly designed mode unless you mod it properly, like every hardcore mode in recent history. Like what's the point of having thirst and hunger when there's a billion sources of both around the world? I'm pretty sure you can still fast travel too so that negates any point right there.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
Guys

I need a REALLY good game in which you can play two players (online) at. It's supposed to be very easy to get into (for me and a 15 year old guy) but it should be addictive and have some sort of deep system (on top of it, again, being very easy to get into).

Anything?

Borderlands 2? If you mean co-op. Have to be a fan of first-person shooting, RPG elements, and the attaining of funky loot. Oh, Torchlight 2 also works.

Yeah, his work in the Ezio trilogy is fantastic (2 particularly). I really wish Ubi would bring him back as the other composers it's used don't quite have the knack for marrying the music with the aesthetic to compound the sense of place, something that Kyd has in spades.
Absolutely.

Time to queue up some AC music.

Anyone knows if Civ5 Brave New World is region free?
I've noticed it's 62% off on Nuveem (16.99R$ / 7.29$ / 5.31€), that should be an all time low AFAIK.

Also, as it would be my first time on Nuveem, is it safe and easy for a non-Portuguese speaker?

It isn't perfect but it is far better than not having anything.

While the site is from Brazil I can help with my Portuguese from Portugal if you ever need or have any doubt. I never bought from them but I can help you with any question regarding the language. ;)

Civ5 and addons seems to be region locked, at least I remember checking, not sure is it true for all regions.

BNW is region-free outside of RU/CIS countries, Indonesia and Taiwan.

You may need to use Google Translate to aid you in signing up, but once you're signed in the path to checking out is quite clear and entirely safe.

Edit: Bah, what the hell is wrong with me. This is the third or fourth time I've double-posted in the past 48 hours.

I'm going to give you total freedom to do this as soon Anno 1404 is back on Steam ( they need more Jase's email's! Don't give up, for both of us..!)

I've been keeping a close eye on the registry since receiving a response from Ubi, hoping to see some updates relating to Anno, King Kong and/or Tintin, but alas there's been nothing thus far.

Hahah, I've also walked back into the Mojave recently after around the same amount of hours. I'm jealous because you're going to play through one of the coolest endings of the game!

I'll be going for a NCR run, and it's my first time.

I uhh, where did I stop. I think I was in the middle of doing those quests for uh, the boomers? Or Caesar, I don't remember. But was doing this on HC and forgot to back up my save when I did a format a few weeks ago.

Don't feel like doing this all over again.

DIS GON B GUD

(I've waited for BNW to definitively jump on the Civ5 wagon, so probably in a couple of weeks I'm gonna be single. :D )

Yay thank you!
I'm gonna try it vanilla, relying only on the conversion Portuguese->Spanish->Italian, but if that and Google Translate fail, I'm totally gonna bother you!

(Also, I always assumed Brazilian Portuguese was the same of Portugal Portuguese! The more I know, then!)

For co-op games Sanctum 2 is pretty neat tower defence/FPS hybrid. Also Orcs Must Die games are fun and addictive, though doesn't have very deep system. Both are very easy to get into.

Well. I don't know about deep and addictive, but both Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Portal 2 are good co-op times.

Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.
I can't seem to get Fallout: New Vegas to work. The game keeps stuttering like crazy. With everything on high it stay's at a steady 60FPS, that's not the problem, but it just keeps stuttering. Tried the 4GB mod and manually with the 4GB Patch to see if that worked, but it didn't.

So, if anyobdy has any ideas, I'd really like to hear them. :p

In other news; Almost finished Dust, great game! Didn't expect the story to be have so many "heavy" stuff in it, though.

We can understand each other perfectly. Some words however are just different and we have a different accent while speaking. But it's all good, in the end it's the same language so we can all be friends :)

I haven't convinced anyone yet to play Lara Croft with me, but I agree that Portal 2 is a great co-op game.

I had also tons of fun with Borderlands 1&2: I think they are fairly easy to get into. And my brother was almost 15 years old when we played the first Borderlands game together.

Can't help you with NW, mine seems to run smoothly, but I'm about to start Dust (this weekend) so, that's great motivator in your post, thanks.

Ah ok, well, that's understandable. :)

Anyway, it was actually pretty easy (hardest thing was figuring out which address field was which).
I don't know why, the word "cadastro" made me laugh, probably because I'm an idiot, who knows. :D

And just for reference: Civ5 BNW successfully activated on my (EU2/Italy) Steam account. :)

I would recommend Orcs Must Die 2. Magicka could work as well. Besides both of them are available in the Humble Jumbo bundle.

Lorne Balfe's music on the Revelations soundtrack put Kyd's to shame. His work was feeling stale at that point. The main theme for AC3 was outstanding as well. AC2 level work wasn't coming from Kyd again.

I really need to give New Vegas a go, just havn't had the time to commit to it. Loved FO3, and start NV a few times.

You run any visual mods with it? I tried a few and my guy turned all transparent and shit...and then the game would just crash when i went into the casino.

Man I need to get back into that game

I'm having a good time with Dishonored. I played it back on the 360 and grew out of it very quickly, now on PC, it seems much better.

I think it's the ability to Blink with the mouse that really makes it work. Just too hard to do with a controller. I'm also playing it fairly aggressively because the controls work better, on 360, I just couldn't control it the way I wanted to play.

Anyway, for now, I like it. I'm about 4 hours in. And for the $4.99 I paid on Amazon, definitely getting more than that price in enjoyment.
