When I was a kid going to an arcade, the pinball tables were probably the least interesting thing there; getting Sonic Spinball one Christmas also didn't help my perception of pinball in general. It wasn't until I tried out Devil's Crush many years later that I actually had some fun with it, but that was purely a video game. Watching Classic Game Room lately though has had me more interested in playing pinball in general so once Pinball FX hit Steam I bought a few of those Marvel tables, because hey, I like Marvel so the appeal is already there.
I enjoyed it, but then I gave Pinball Arcade a try once that hit Steam. Man, I really don't want to touch FX again after playing it, the physics and sound design just feels so spot on. Haven't actually bought any tables yet but I've been dabbling in the trials so far, and they seemed to throw us a solid by making the bundled free table one of the better ones available. Once TF2 keys plummet on the marketplace during the sale I think I'll do some Russian dealings to get discounted table packs. Black Hole is super simple but man is it fun.

We barely get to -3° in Rome in like the coldest winter night of the year, we're around +5° now and when I got back home today I was cursing everything for how much it was freezing out there.
How the hell do you live at -28?
Also, I'm always on the verge of sending curricula to Canada to run away from here, but I'm always blocked by the weather, as I don't think there's enough warm stuff in my wardrobe to manage that cold, even if I wear everything at once.
-28 is nothing. Before leaving Winnipeg, I'd experienced -40 several times, and once almost -60 with windchill. A lot of people say that after -20 or so temperature doesn't matter, but I've always felt like there's another threshold around -35. At that point, it hurts to even breathe. At -40, any exposed skin freezes and dies in about four minutes.
As for how you live, you stay inside. If you're going somewhere, you start your car half an hour before you leave so that it's warm enough to be inside. If you're lucky enough to be downtown, most places you need to get to are connected by tunnels most of the way.
The crazy thing? In the summer, the temperature is frequently in the low 30s, sometimes higher.
My old BFG 6600 GT OC used to consistently reach 110-120 in World of Warcraft during the summer (in Canada). I was surprised it didn't fail.

Well now that you've beat it, try Golden Bullet since it's unlocked. One hit kills take out all of those issues, ESPECIALLY the bike section which on any other difficulty has to be one of the worst non-broken-technically stage I've ever played in gaming.
I do a post the second deals update every day anyway (except fridays and probably like, christmas shit), so you'd just have to copypaste that, lazy slob.

Kabouter contacted the publisher behind Darkest of Days to implore them to put it on sale during the Steam sale. They wrote back to him to explain that they'd love to, but it's out of their hands as their "owner has signed a new agreement". I have no idea what that means, but I'd take it as a confirmation that it won't be a daily deal but also that if it's a game you want to own and never bothered to buy, that it is a delisting risk.
The developer now sells engine tech independently, and the publisher now sells casino and gambling software. Again, red flags.

Darkest of Days hasn't been on sale in almost 18 months. I think it's safe to say that the agreement was signed a long time ago and won't impact the game's presence on the store.

Oh shit I forgot that came out this year too. I might put that bottom of the list, I really enjoyed most of that game surprisingly. Ada's campaign was atrocious though.

Yeah. I always play with my brother in local co-op, which probably make it as enjoyable as possible. But a lot of average or bad games can be made enjoyable in that manner.

Slim. It's almost 6pm in California and so I imagine that if Telltale were going to throw its fans such a bone, it would've been done by now.

Man, fuck the Abandoned Mines in Ys 1. For an action-rpg that's literally only hours long, we're talking four to five hours and you're completely maxed out at level 10, Ys 1 can be kind of obtuse and frustrating, especially the bosses. Like the one in the Abandoned Mine.

I also have no work tomorrow.
I almost waited on it but honestly half the game is playing it in real time and discussing what's gonna happen next after each episode
