I'm still wondering if there are any cheap CD key websites that are giving out pre-load keys already for RAGE?
I don't know if I should buy that considering I can only buy one big release a month...

Now I remember why I stopped playing Psychonauts. It was
the arrowhead collecting grind for the cobweb duster and then getting the flowers in the Milkman Conspiracy. I still have no idea how I opened the gate they're behind but I recall being stuck there and just saying screw it. Also, I think I only worked out after about 2 hours that I was supposed to be using the dowsing rod to find arrowheads, it only took me 10 minutes this time...

There's a lesson here about playing games baked but I can't figure it out.

If you are getting nowhere and it's becoming a chore, just put down your pride, check gamefaqs for the answer to that particularly shitty hitch in game design, and resume having fun?

That's just the thing, I'm still not entirely sure the game itself was to blame now that I've overcome it. Also I was playing it on my 360 without a PC nearby. Maybe that's the lesson, I don't know. I'm so confused.

I'm guessing a lot of those people on the Steam forums are little kids who don't have a credit card / paypal and trading TF2 items is the easiest way. Thankfully there are people who donate to donate and donate to advertise on the top 10 list to balance it out.

Recettear is starting to kick my ass now. I barely managed to pay my 80,000 payment for the week and the next damn week she wants 200,000. The damn thing went from 10k to 30k to 80k to fucking 200k.

She's like Tom Nook times one million on the shifty loan shark scale. Unless I stumble across some super rare item I'm pretty fucked.

I don't think you're ever completely fucked in Recettear.

If you fail to make a payment, it basically rolls you back to the beginning week of the game and you get to try it again. You lose your story progress and IIRC your money, but you keep the items you had in stock, so you can get an economic head start

Its just a shame that the subtitles dont seem to scale up correctly to your res or something and its like they were displayed at 800x600 or something. They look awful and take up a big fuckin chunk of the screen. They REALLY get in the way, specially in cutscenes.

edit: I'll try that out GhostRidah, thanks. Dont think i'll be playing much but it should come in handy anyway.

Damn, Psychonauts looks great. Been wanting to pick that up on PC for a while now. Played it when it first came out and absolutely loved it.

I'm sure it's been asked before, but there's no native controller support, right?

Patch added native 360 controller support, that was the main reason I decided to give it another try. The button prompts are unfortunately still the keyboard ones, but it's fine once you play for a little while.

And yeah, it looks pretty sexy.

$35 at intkeys. someone said they bought it off them in the RAGE OT, so maybe PM them and ask them if it's preloaded, they received their key yet, etc.

Its sort of neat, but there is next to no content. The interactivity is cool and all, but it took longer to download then view.

It's isn't one of those keys that require a Russian VPN at least, so it should work, but I haven't decided if I'm getting it yet or not.

How can it not require a VPN? I thought Steam region-locked their keys?

That's cause they come from the Nvidia promo thing with new videocards, aint fishy at all.

No, as far as I know that's definitely possible. People are activating Steam keys from the Nvidia videocard offer (which is a good way to get a cheap Arkham City code by the by find someone that doesn't want theirs) so that is for sure possible.

Ah I see, makes a lot of sense, forgot about that, pretty good deal then, especially if the game is not region locked.

Yeah, someone sold 30 of them today on Gaf for £15 each UK version and US people had no issues with it.

Deity, one city, science victory. I only had a chance to win because of several deadlocked votes in the United Nations. I didn't even have enough money to pull one city state away from the leading contender to try and stall the game.
