You will get your moneys worth it will take you 20 to 30 hours depending on side quests and how good you are at puzzles. Then you have multiplayer on top of that.

Hmmm...should I buy Bastion or Clash of Heroes? I'll get both eventually, but I'm leaning towards Bastion. Thoughts?

yeah, it's super fun too. after playing the demo last night i realized i had tried it out years and years ago but never got around to buying it because of the ~$20 price tag on the dev's site. for less than 3.50 it was an easy decision. bummer you ended up missing out!

Bastion is really good but it only took me 7hours to clock. it has New game plus but doesn't really add anything in terms of story, its mostly for achievement whores.

Bastion. I haven't even bothered to play it for more than two hours yet, but my god is it amazing :)

Gah, steam has spoiled me, gonna pay full price. The game is just too cool not to support .. again :p

Bastion it is. I'm kinda glad to hear it's short since that means I can beat it before the holiday rush. Thanks for the words of wisdom bros.

It has all DLC, they aren't going to patch it ever again, and it doesn't have Steam achievements. There is no reason not to get the D2D version and add it as a non-Steam game. Just be aware it's a 23.8GB game.

It's a very polished but largely forgettable title. I really enjoyed my time with it, and if you like Obsidian there is at least a glimmer of the flair they bring to their games in the dialogue and story. Didn't ever go back to it after I finished, however.

Hmmmm. Thanks for the impression. Gah, I might aswell wait. Rage is unlocking on Monday, Dark Souls is coming on the 7th. DS3 will only be played for a few hours before it gets replaced by bigger titles. Who knows, Christmas sale might have it for cheaper by then.

I'm downloading it now and god d2d servers are slow. Slower than steam :(

EDIT : Are origin's servers quicker? How do I register my copy there? I punch the key in there? With Steam I usually have 800 Kb/s and with d2d I now have 450Kb/s. It will take forever for 12.4 Gb at that speed.

on origin/steam i usually get 1.5/1.9 mb/s and yeah all u do is redeem the cd key on origin and u get an origin copy.

And why is Edge game icon is not the one advertised in the list for, but is on the grid form ?

Clash of Heroes. Bastion is an awful game which gets a pass because of the OMG THE NARRATOR IS TALKING gimmick.

I'd enjoy playing it. I was thinking of picking it up for $20, but I'm a broke University student.

If I get a copy--which I assume is what you're getting at--I'll pay it forward with 5 SteamGifts invites to whomever wants them. It's all I can do, really. Oh, and a copy of Serious Sam HD 1.

I know that it's not much, but it's all that I can afford :S.

Last Warhammer game I played was DoW Gold, sans WAR. And I'm hoping to pick Space Marine up during a sale one of these days; it seems to be really groovy.
So... I am!
