I liked this a lot. The driving sequences are gorgeous and the Gears of Bond bits feel tight. The story was boring, but the areas you visit are neat.TimmiT said:James Bond: Blood Stone is now 66% off. Maybe that's the Midweek Madness deal?

Yeah, everything but button prompts change which is a bit annoying, but didn't stop me. The pad felt excellent controls wise.coopolon said:Gamepad support? Don't see it on the store page but that doesn't really mean anything.

While I hate being locked to 30fps as well, what is the mouse issue exactly?Stallion Free said:Also, anyone curious about Quantum of Solace probably shouldn't buy it. It is locked at 30 fps for no reason, has no pad support and feels like shit because of it (mouse + 30 fps = intolerable).
Mouse controls feel awful at 30 fps, it feels floaty.Gvaz said:While I hate being locked to 30fps as well, what is the mouse issue exactly?

Isn't it GFWL game? Why no pad support?Stallion Free said:Also, anyone curious about Quantum of Solace probably shouldn't buy it. It is locked at 30 fps for no reason, has no pad support and feels like shit because of it (mouse + 30 fps = intolerable).

It's a shoddy port of a movie tie-in game rushed out for release alongside the film.Polk said:Isn't it GFWL game? Why no pad support?

ur pc am less powerful than teh 360.MoFuzz said:It's a shoddy port of a movie tie-in game rushed out for release alongside the film.
Oddly enough, I believe the 360 version runs closer to a targeted 60 FPS since it's running on the Modern Warfare engine.
Truly baffling why they felt the need to limit it to 30 FPS on PC.

it loads up as some Go Daddy.com bullshit for me.
what's up with that?
That's highly subjective. I played Crysis 1 at like 25fps average.Stallion Free said:(mouse + 30 fps = intolerable)..
Crysis is an exception to the rule. Crytek has some sort of black magic.amdnv said:That's highly subjective. I played Crysis 1 at like 25fps average.

Do yourself a favor and play it. It's a really good game.Snuggler said:Anyways, I think Winterbottom would also be the least I've spent. I still haven't tried playing it yet, I should do that.

They're just changing DNS records. Their registrar was previously MarkMonitor Inc. until today. It's now been given over to GoDaddy. Cached DNS lookups from 9 days ago showed MarkMonitor managing Direct2Drive's DNS records, current lookups show GoDaddy, and the DNS records themselves have been updated today. It's just a move.Zimbardo said:hopefully not.
some ppl on overclockers forum are guessing that it might be because of the recent Gamefly acquisition ...that maybe they're changing some stuff.
i dunno.
when it comes back, i'm changing my password anyway. hehe.

I made a zombie cow (now Size Five Games, they changed the name last month) thread in the past but it kinda died. A shame, wonderful studio.
That sounds like a software cursor, not really an issue with the fps itself per se.Stallion Free said:Mouse controls feel awful at 30 fps, it feels floaty.
