Does anyone know if Offspring Fling is any good?
Probably been posted, but the MW3 DLC is 50% and IMO pretty good.

Offspring Fling is 50% off: http://store.steampowered.com//app/211360
Bought, got high scores and looks like a fun little game.
I'll buy that!

Wondering this is well. The store page mentions Super Meat Boy and that kind of scares me off as I am not very good at platformers.
I saw some guy yelling about it's terrible issues and how it wouldn't start, but I haven't seen anyone else with problems. PC Gaming tm etc.
I think you'll be fine Ookami. And yeah it's worth your money.
I have! That's why I said I'd buy!

I've only been to their forums once months and months ago.Must have missed the Nine page thread then. I've had to ask for a bloody refund, I wouldn't mind if there was the occasional crash issue or dodgy FPS. But I literately can't launch the game. I've not had an issue like this in years. :/
Is there a easy way to throttle Steam download speeds?
No idea why but when my download gets at about 2mb my router shits the bed and goes offline for about a minute. :/
Oh shit I just had a dilemma.
Should I wait for Steam Summer sale or buy Endless Space in GMG with 25% right now?
I mean, it has a chance of not getting discounted due to being a new game.

I still don't understand how such a powerful platform like Steam with a great client doesn't have the BASIC FUNCTIONALITY of controlling your download speed? Is there a easy way to throttle Steam download speeds?

AFAIK, there's no Zoom option for the PC version, at least not "out of the box". Don't know if they're any mods. :/Might aswell ask here:
Regarding Machinarium, i know the assets are drawn at a fixed resolution but is there a way to at least zoom in? Kind of hard to distinguish details at the distance i play.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-11-01-playstation-3-machinarium-the-ultimate-version"This PlayStation version will be the ultimate version of Machinarium," he said. "There will be a few new features, such as zoom. You will have the ability to zoom to certain places. There will be Trophies. It will be more fluent. It's a really nice version. I'm quite happy with it. We're looking forward to it."

Implementing that feature doesn't require quantum physics knowledge or virgin blood last time I checked...
The list of "Why doesn't ..." is a big one:
Why doesn't Steam have a download speed setting?
Why doesn't Steam have chat logs?
Why doesn't Steam have a global automatic update setting window?
Why doesn't Steam have a decent Offline Mode?
Why doesn't Valve announce Half-Life 3 already?
...and so on.
Thanks for the answer ivan [AFAIK, there's no Zoom option for the PC version, at least not "out of the box". Don't know if they're any mods. :/
Amanita said something about PS3 version getting the Zoom and lots of other features:

Steam sale sometime next week?
On the bombcast from Tuesday, it seemed as if they knew when the sale would start. One of them went (in reference to the steam sales) "That starts in two weeks right?" and they kept talking.
I don't see why video game "journalists" would be privy to the start date of the sale; it doesn't involve them in the slightest.

I dont know, they could have known someone at valve or some company made aware when a sale would start. Just thought it was interesting.
As amazing as Steam is it has some very very simple missing features. The list of "Why doesn't ..." is a big one:

I can't wrap my head around why someone doesn't incorporate all the stuff above or at least talk about it. Makes ZERO fucking sense.
They have talked about things like throttling, but as with Valve they take forever to implement. As amazing as Steam is it has some very very simple missing features.

In addition, the new content system will allow us to build several new features that we’ve often heard requested. Upcoming client releases will include things like download scheduling, bandwidth throttling, and prioritizing which games get downloaded first. You’ll also be able to download an update to a game while you’re playing that game; Steam will apply the update after you exit the game.

BPM being the exception:
Number of days between the announcement of Half-Life 2 and its release: 575
Number of days between the announcement of Big Picture Mode and today: 482
Come on, Valve, you can do it! You're this close!
To be fair they showed that off behind closed doors at E3 so it's not like there isn't work being done on it. All I was saying is that they aren't ignoring these requested features and have in fact talked about some. Would love to see them speed up development on some of this stuff though. BPM better be amazing.Just like they've talked about BPM.
I just bought and started to download Offspring fling all with my phone. Ze future
