Cock Encumbered
Just pre purchased Dead Island Riptide. I have no idea why.
Everything about it screams sub 5$ pickup for continued weird bonding experience in co-op from the first one.

Found that Sleeping Dogs is having a sale in GG too
Looks like a pretty good price for all that dlc. The Sleeping Dogs dlc worth getting?
Dat PC compression bringing 800mb down to 6mb.
Just bought the last piece of DLC for Sleeping Dog that I didn't have (year of the snake). Should probably do another run soon since I haven't played it at all with any DLC turned on.
Any word on if there are more DLC planned for the future? Or was Year of the Snake the last one?
Same here, was missing it and waiting for another sale to finally grab it.Cheers. Might as well pick up Year of the Snake.
I played the original on 360 I didn't even like it much too.
Yeah, It's a classic sale game, yet I just pre purchased it. I'm broke until the end of the month too which makes this purchase even dumber.
I'm dumb.
Same problem, only difference is I changed my pc's name but it still stuck on the first startup screen. Have tried all the suggestion I can find online and it still doesn't run.
Serves you right for having an accent in your name.
joking!
I almost missed Withcer 2 sale. Will I like it even if I didn't enjoyed the first one much?
(I gave up on the first one almost at the end, though. Just got bored, I guess.)

The second one is better in every regard. Much smoother gameplay, great story with many important choices and last but not least, it looks GREAT!
I haven't played either but I hear the second one is better. It's not even 10 bucks and you've got about 50 minutes left, why the hell not?
Unless you wanna wait for Summer in case it goes lower, but it won't be a huge difference.
It appears GG are having a two week long spring sale, so a whole heap of games are discounted. They have four daily deal games too, they are:SEGA seems to have gone on some huge sale on GamersGate for Earth Day.
This is why I haven't started the game yet. I want to get all the story and missions DLC before I start.Just bought the last piece of DLC for Sleeping Dog that I didn't have (year of the snake). Should probably do another run soon since I haven't played it at all with any DLC turned on.

You know, all the hype I had for this game has vanished now that I'm totally hooked to Nintendo's latest portable. I'll probably get it anyway, but it just doesn't feel the same...
Damn. He knows exactly how much money he could charge and keep me interested.

Just a reminder that our Steam sale ends in less than an hour.

Cthulhu Saves the World/Breath of Death VII combo pack for $0.99 (66% off).
It appears GG are having a two week long spring sale, so a whole heap of games are discounted. They have four daily deal games too, they are:
Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army $7.50 (4 pack is $22.49)
Euro Truck Simulator 2 $14.98 (This doesn't redeem on Steam, I believe)
Endless Space - Emperor Special Edition $17.48
Bastion $3.75
Expire in basically 15 hours.
I grabbed a Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 4 pack. If anyone is interested in the other copies, let me know. $4.50 each (I have the 20% discount).
I really disliked Fez, not because it's a bad game but because it was very different than what I was expecting. I was expecting something like Braid (which I enjoyed), but it feels a lot more like Myst to me (which I did not).

Thanks for the explanation. I already have all of them except Year of the Snake. Looks like I'm not missing anything by getting it after playing the main game. Anyway, I waited this far, so I can wait a little longer until I finally buy it.The undead whatever DLC (and I believe the year of the snake, too) is a kind of stand-alone experience. The only reason to finish the main campaign before them is to avoid spoilers. They even have a different "New Game" screen.
And the amazingly awesome Zodiac Tournment is a sidequest that you can ignore how much you want, like those Fallout and Elder Scrolls DLC where someone points on your map where to go and leave it at that for how long you desire.
None of them have much to do with the main storyline other than happening after it.

Daily deal is Counter Strike Condition Zero at $2.50(-75%)
Euro Truck Simulator 2 $14.98 (This doesn't redeem on Steam, I believe)
At the bottom of the system requirements list it claims it in fact does, even if it's not a Steamworks game. Still debating whether to take the plunge or not...
Pm Sent*Edit - 1 copy left.

My mistake, I only looked in the usual spot. It does indeed redeem on Steam, as you say.At the bottom of the system requirements list it claims it in fact does, even if it's not a Steamworks game. Still debating whether to take the plunge or not...
I see they added Final Fantasy XI to Steam. I don't know if it's been answered yet but does anyone know if Square is planning on releasing Final Fantasy XIV as well?
To be honest, Fez was underpriced in the first place. It should have been $15, and then the PC version wouldn't have felt such an insult at $10, but yeah wait for an indie bundle if you're that bothered. What a great price for Yurop, Phil Fish. ugh.
