Everything about it screams sub 5$ pickup for continued weird bonding experience in co-op from the first one.

I played the original on 360 I didn't even like it much too.

Yeah, It's a classic sale game, yet I just pre purchased it. I'm broke until the end of the month too which makes this purchase even dumber.

I'm dumb.

I'm hoping that SFxT patch means that the Arcade version of Street Fighter IV goes on sale again. Kicking myself for not jumping on it a month or!

Just bought the last piece of DLC for Sleeping Dog that I didn't have (year of the snake). Should probably do another run soon since I haven't played it at all with any DLC turned on.

Any word on if there are more DLC planned for the future? Or was Year of the Snake the last one?

Dat PC compression bringing 800mb down to 6mb.

The 800MB was from the PC patch you could download directly off xbox.com a week or so ago. It was apparently 555MB of videos and 300 odd MB of updated game files.

Boom steam drops a 6MB patch to update to the same version. Either GFWL isn't the service that everybody makes it out to be or there be magic in the steam software.

YotS is the last hurrah. I suppose it's possible that Squeenix may release another costume pack in the future coincident with a marketing push for another title, but the days of content-expanding DLC for the game are very much over.

I like the first Dead Island but I wouldn't pre-order it. Mainly because I too am poor, being a college student and whatnot.

Hope you like it though :v I'm probably just gonna keep playing the original DI with a friend, we're in the jungle right now and skipping sidequests. Fun stuff. I've heard the sidequests in Riptide are still doodoo... Sucks man. Was hoping they'd improve 'em. I swear every sidequest in DI is a fetch or escort. At least they aren't mandatory.

Tech question. Finally got back to finishing DoW2:Retribution. Cant get it to load properly @ 5760x1080. Both previous DoW2 games load and play fine at that resolution.

Any ideas? Flawless Widescreen doesnt have a profile :/

Same problem, only difference is I changed my pc's name but it still stuck on the first startup screen. Have tried all the suggestion I can find online and it still doesn't run.

You should try this: https://help.ea.com/article/fifa-13-crashes-on-pc

I'm at work now but I'll see if this fix works when I get back home. This has to be one of the most annoying solutions ever.

Serves you right for having an accent in your name.

joking!

It bothers me a lot when a game doesn't support accents and I can't write my name properly. It happens a lot sadly.

I almost missed Withcer 2 sale. Will I like it even if I didn't enjoyed the first one much?

(I gave up on the first one almost at the end, though. Just got bored, I guess.)

The second one is better in every regard. Much smoother gameplay, great story with many important choices and last but not least, it looks GREAT!

I haven't played either but I hear the second one is better. It's not even 10 bucks and you've got about 50 minutes left, why the hell not?

Unless you wanna wait for Summer in case it goes lower, but it won't be a huge difference.

Cool. Got it. Thanks! :)

This is why I haven't started the game yet. I want to get all the story and missions DLC before I start.

You know, all the hype I had for this game has vanished now that I'm totally hooked to Nintendo's latest portable. I'll probably get it anyway, but it just doesn't feel the same...

The undead whatever DLC (and I believe the year of the snake, too) is a kind of stand-alone experience. The only reason to finish the main campaign before them is to avoid spoilers. They even have a different "New Game" screen.

And the amazingly awesome Zodiac Tournment is a sidequest that you can ignore how much you want, like those Fallout and Elder Scrolls DLC where someone points on your map where to go and leave it at that for how long you desire.

None of them have much to do with the main storyline other than happening after it.

It appears GG are having a two week long spring sale, so a whole heap of games are discounted. They have four daily deal games too, they are:

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army $7.50 (4 pack is $22.49)
Euro Truck Simulator 2 $14.98 (This doesn't redeem on Steam, I believe)
Endless Space - Emperor Special Edition $17.48
Bastion $3.75

Expire in basically 15 hours.

I grabbed a Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 4 pack. If anyone is interested in the other copies, let me know. $4.50 each (I have the 20% discount).

PM sent.

I really disliked Fez, not because it's a bad game but because it was very different than what I was expecting. I was expecting something like Braid (which I enjoyed), but it feels a lot more like Myst to me (which I did not).

Thanks for the explanation. I already have all of them except Year of the Snake. Looks like I'm not missing anything by getting it after playing the main game. Anyway, I waited this far, so I can wait a little longer until I finally buy it.

I've been up all night studying for my final in a few hours.

Refreshing the store page is a nice break. Now to play some KOTOR to cool off.

At the bottom of the system requirements list it claims it in fact does, even if it's not a Steamworks game. Still debating whether to take the plunge or not...

Euro Truck Sim 2 is a surprisingly fantastic game, especially coming from someone who isn't exactly a driving sim person and is playing with an unoptimal keyboard+mouse set up.

I highly recommend getting it.

I see they added Final Fantasy XI to Steam. I don't know if it's been answered yet but does anyone know if Square is planning on releasing Final Fantasy XIV as well?

Yay Kairo got on Steam! I was worried the dev had given up after a bad experience on Greenlight or something.

D'oh I have no money. Oh well when I sell some games I'll play it. Setting yourself a cash limit on Steam is really effective addicts. I suggest quarterly budget instead of annual ones though.
What a great price for Yurop, Phil Fish. ugh.
To be honest, Fez was underpriced in the first place. It should have been $15, and then the PC version wouldn't have felt such an insult at $10, but yeah wait for an indie bundle if you're that bothered.
