Did they ever make getting ice for GTAIV via steam easier to get going? I did it a while back but it didn't work out for some reason. My retail copy is missing the second disk *shakes fist*

Not the best example but it's all I got, sometimes the fog will break the lighting. Just looks bad often.

While we're in the spirit of giving I have an extra copy of Crusader Kings II in my inventory. 15 minute raffle:
Heard a lot of great things about this game. I'm gonna try it if I win, could help broading my gaming horizons.

Thanks a lot Xel!

I'm very late to reply to [Syberia] (I think there are literally 1000 posts per day in this thread and I had to catch up, lol), but these games are still ones I really want to play through. The design looks really interesting.

And yes, it's sad since the art is premade or whatever that they can't be played in high resolution. Is there at least a fullscreen stretch scaling option?

Oh man I hit the bottom of a page. =(

I just beat Advance Wars last week actually. Awesome game.

The GBA library is so amazing.
If you liked the GBA one (or two? I forget), check out the DS ones since they're also quite good.

I played the first one on GBA, have to find a copy of the second one.

I will probably pick up the first DS one, but Days of Ruin looks like they went after the Call of Duty audience.

I wish Rogue Warrior were half off like it usually is during sale periods. I missed it during the Summer Sale as it's Aussie Taxed ($19.99 versus $9.99).

Dual Strike is fun but you can be silly and overpowered if you want, as mentioned. Days of Ruin is a darker tone but possibly quite balanced. I really wouldn't say it's aimed at a Call of Duty audience though, it's more of a gloomy end-of-world scenario, psychotic scientist, let's stick together in the face of all odds, sort of story. Anyway I'm afraid I'm pretty off topic, so feel free to PM if you have questions about the games.

On a Steam note I'm not sure if I already missed 75% off RTCW, but seeing people mention it does bring back fond memories. I still haven't played the singleplayer, but I'd like to. Before I got a computer good enough to run TF2, I played so much multiplayer RTCW, and I still think the multiplayer class design/gameplay may be some of the best around, in a similar tier to TF2.

Here's a little something to contribute to the giveaway fever.

It's the (mostly) Humble DA Grab Bag!

I've slackened the rules, so grab what you want. But please note that some keys may not work because sites (like Indie Gala and Indie Royale) don't keep track of what you've already used. When you have nearly 1,000 games on Steam, you start to lose track where you bought everything. :p

Victoria II was a dupe, but thanks for the giveaway!

Didn't even know there was trivia on it. Maybe the later versions as all I got was '95.

'95 was the version I had also. It was something of a first-person point-and-click adventure game: you explored a castle and progression was tied to multiple-choice questions, the answers to which you could find in Encarta's articles.

Edit: It was called MindMaze:

Go go Rayman Apples v2.

Oh man, you never played Mindmaze?! It might have started in 96 or 98, but I had so much fun with that game. I'm really sad that there's no way to play it anymore.

EDIT: LOL Jase posted about it while I was grabbing that image AND we both used the same image.

Well, crap. Can't believe I missed something like that, I think. The pic does look familiar though. May have forgotten about it. All I remember of my win95 days are Doom, Jetfighter, Prince of Persia, Zool 1+2, and gif porn BBS's.
