God dammit, this literally couldn't have happened at a worse time. I was experience internet problems, just standard slow down that I was attempting to fix. I was testing it on steam then changed download servers, after doing that I was told I couldn't reach content servers, a restart later I couldn't even log into steam. I was baffled, figured I'd done something wrong. I've spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure out how to fix it without thinking "maybe steam is just coincidentally down for everyone at this exact moment".

Oh, now that you're guys are talking about routers, does anyone have any idea why mine stops working almost daily, forcing me to unplug it and plug it back again? If I don't do that, then none of my devices will connect to the wi-fi network (my phone gets stuck at "Obtaining IP address"). It's really annoying, and my previous router (which suddenly stopped working last month) never gave me that kind of trouble.

I was asking about the rest of the description, to be honest. Points 3 and 4 sound like they belong to a parody game, and #1 isn't too far behind.

Hm, I'm still logged in to Steam, but it wont let me purchase things I put in my cart. At least it's said ERROR every time, and I don't think it's actually tried to charge me for them (I hope)

Trying to create a support ticket, and all I get is:
Error Code: -118
Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet.

Have you played any of the Betrayer? It looks pretty interesting, but there hasn't been a lot of clear narrative exposed, which puts it more in the sandbox style of games, and I just haven't been able to enjoy those lately. I admit fault, there.

As for Lichdom... seems interesting in concept, but the gameplay video on the Steam page made it look like a block/attack combo game. With free roam, that could be exciting for every second of three minutes. Games like Punch Out! and Infinity Blade work with them because of the crisp response and unwillingness to let you breathe once the fight gets going. But I may have just been reading that video wrong.

It's an intentionally mangled combination of two different expressions that have the same meaning. "Does a bear shit in the woods," and "Is the Pope Catholic?"

The answer to both is, "of course yes.'

Managed to log into Steam after a few failed attempts only to find my categories nuked. What a bummer.

Last time this happened I was half-way through recategorizing my games when Steam suddenly decided to load the old categories. So now I'm playing the waiting game.

Edit: It fixed itself. Hurrah.

Also I'm confused by One Finger Death Punch's update today. "New frame of animation". Just one?

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
The new Gauntlet game coming to Steam looks pretty cool.

Also

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Warner Bros. confirmed that the reboot will also launch the WB Games Vault, a direct-to-digital initiative that will distribute paid games across multiple networks from existing Warner and Midway brands, as well as original IP.

I'm kind of confused. Does this mean that WB Games will start releasing more of their new games on Steam, or that they'll be re-releasing older games?

Also it appears that Steam has more users than half of İstanbul's population. I'm waiting for the day that it'll reach the population of İstanbul.

That's just the ones that were logged in concurrently. Valve reports that Steam users have exceeded 75 million "active" users.
