I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I was looking on Steam and the second Half Minute Hero game is $19.99, or you can get it in a bundle with the first game for...$19.99. Is this intentional? Seems odd.

This can't be right. I went to pre-load Metro 2033 Redux, and it downloaded 146.9/146.9 MB and now it says pre-load complete.

Where's the rest of the game?

I just got a 75% off Two Worlds 2 coupon for crafting the Gunpoint badge. Not sure I'm really going to buy Two Worlds 2 though. What should I do with it? Do any of you want it?

Also, I actually kind of like crafting badges. Especially when I get a cool badge and cool drops from it. I really like the lvl 1 Gunpoint badge. Might but the 4-5 cards I need for XCOM EU's badge and Metro LL's. Which reminds me, do we know if Metro 2033 redux will have cards or not?

Huh, this is interesting. The 50% discount on the Metro Redux games if you own the originals seems to apply to gift copies too, and it doesn't appear to limit you to using the discount only once. I bought the Redux bundle for myself the other day with the discount, and it's still allowing me to buy it as a gift at the discounted price.

It's not something you really have to worry about in normal play. Even crashing isn't a big deal because they give you a pretty generous re-join timer.

Lately, yes. :D

I was asked by another GAFer to gift them a copy of the new Naruto because I had the full 20% discount.
JaseC was kind enough to gift us copies for Deponia complete when it was having a 90% discount for owners of all 3 games.
Even better for Metro is getting it through trades via the motherland when the trader has the discount. It currently costs the trader $11.36 for both games. :)

I'd recommend against getting the game at all but if you're dead set on it get it for ps4, if you don't have a ps4 then get it on PC(ps4 so you could get the best experience without having to use uplay and I'm sure people still play online on ps4, doubt anyone does on PC)

Hey, i'm with ya man. I tend to only do it for games i dig, or games where i get a full set of unique drops and the cards are super-cheap. I like raising the level for better odds at boosters, and sometimes the emotes make the crafting pay for itself (yo Divekick!)

But i totally get the appeal in just making money on cards too, since its basically free money you nab over time.

Did valve mention why they removed the tray steam .ico to indicate when it was downloading/updating/syncing?

I was trying to add new icons and edit the existing ones but Valve rechecks the file size of probably everything it loads. The new icon would have to be the exact same size as the original one.

Since you're here, can you add a retry option to Idle Master so that it periodically reattempts to access a user's badge page, say, every five minutes? There must have been Steam Community server hiccups at 6am AWST as I returned to my laptop earlier and found that IM didn't do anything because it couldn't access my badge page; it worked just fine after I closed it and immediately re-opened it, so the issue definitely wasn't settings/cookie-related.

Every time I pull up the Steam main page and see the ad for Dishonored free weekend, I think "I should play that while it's free" until I remember that I already own it.
