Turns out that Saints Row IV distracted me long enough to watch the Stream.

The running and jumping powers are fun, but they don't feel as easy to control as you'd hope. So far the game is pretty aimless, much more so than SR III was at this point.

Enjoying it but glad I didn't get it for full price, it really doesn't feel like more than an expansion pack.

You'll get used to them and they really come into their own with a few upgrades. I agree it never really seems like a full priced title, but to be honest it didn't stay "full price" long, I bought it for $10 less than six months after it released and the full version was cheap in barely over a year. The game is definitely a blast though and well worth the play through.

I did a few upgrades before stopping to play, the air grind one and running over the wall were pretty nice already. Hope they keep evolving.

Well, it did release at full price, and sales tend to be front ended on consoles. Didn't pay anywhere close to full price either, actually it was a gift so I didn't pay anything, but I'm really glad my friend didn't pay full price for this either
