Got all the endings in the RE7 demo. That save theme preorder bonus for PSN is so nice. The design for the Moulded is great, I don't miss zombies that much here. Crimson Heads though... I would jump for joy if they were in RE2make.

I bet Jack Baker would destroy Jake. Nemesis or Birkin would be a toss-up though.

I hope Crimson Heads don't come back. I know i'm the minority, but I hate them. Not even a "Oh they're so scary, or so tough" I just dislike them as a mechanic. Since it pushes you to run past zombies rather than fight, or start to get way to particular on managing the fuel and lighter. It's the main reason I still prefer the original RE to REmake.

I liked the running/lighter experience, but I totally understand others hating them. They won't come back, I'm pretty sure.

And yes, I am a nerd.

Something we agree on. I like the concept of Crimson Heads, but in practice, they're more like those old-school "hard-as-fuck-early-on" mechanics meant to prevent game renters from finishing them in a few days. Since once you get the shotgun and some shells, they're much less of a threat. It's early-game where you're scrounging for handgun bullets and health and trying to figure your way around (initial playthrough) where they're a genuine worry. Plus the whole being replaced by
hunters
for the most part later on...

In case you're not playing along, look at the dress above you.

Whoops didn't see that post lol.

Yeah, I guess the mechanic worked for the time but in hindsight it's not something that should be repeated. Maybe Mikami's team can bring it to The Evil Within 2 instead, hahaha.

The first time I watched someone play TEW, I was under the assumption that you had to burn bodies or the enemies would just keep coming back. Don't think I'm alone in that, either.

Yeah lots of people thought that, myself included. It's just a faster way of killing the Haunted when they're down. A few corpses will get up too.

Darkest Dungeon adding a new mode that speeds up certain aspects of the game and should cut campagin time in half (which sounds scary at first, but we are talking about from 80-90 hours to 40-50 so...yeah).Might be of interest to some people that have held of playing it

I loved the game but its grindy as fuck, so this might be a good thing. Certainly something I would use in a eventual second playthrough.

"A lot of what causes people to put down the game has to do with how much rebuilding is required should you experience a party wipe of max level heroes with all your best trinkets," Red Hook said. "We want loss to still feel meaningful, but for this mode we will look at helping that rebuilding process more than normal."

can confirm >_>

Thank goodness for that, I started the game back in January but never finished it and just forgot about it.

Might try to get back into once the new update for that new mode is out.

Just went back to Shadow Warrior 2 after not playing since launch and none of my weapons have much ammo and everything kills me in a few hits and takes so much damage. Wish they hadn't made it a Borderlands esqe loot game.

Yeah, I know a lot of people really loved Shadow Warrior 2, but I was really disappointed by the shift in direction. The story/writing was pretty disappointing as well.

Anyone planning on playing Hitman with the Steam Controller - I uploaded a binding set that fixes any problems mouse + gamepad combo had. Works wonderfully imo. Put simply, Run is now its keyboard binding, and the combinations of buttons that don't work out when that key is pressed are autocorrected by a mode shift that is activated at the same time. As long as you can live with buttom prompts flickering between m&k or gamepad till you stop using the mouse or sprint, your all good. This wouldn't even be necessary if Squenix / IO didn't aribitrarily fuck up certain combinations of button presses. Not seen anything like this before, but at the same time they were nice enough to get mouse and gamepad working together, which is all that was needed to let users set it up right

Speaking of:

GAMEPUMP - any clues as to what the first/any games will be?

Game 1: WayForward's Lit; not clear if it's the WiiWare original or the poopy mobile version.
After that: A catalogue of a publisher's games rescued from bankruptcy court, purportedly.

Groupees - any good bundles to spend these silly coins on?

I have literally $18 in coins so obviously from my perspective no.

No idea if this is a better or equal deal to upcoming winter sale =/
The fatalist in me says it might be worst later because it's a 2 week discount instead of 2 days.

Let's go already, Steam sale. It's annoying it starts on a Thursday. Should have been Tuesday.

I'm hyped I kinda want to focus on games I really want instead of just game count which if I don't hit it tomorrow with the Wednesday Indie Gala i'm gonna hit 5,500 Thursday.
