Double Dragon 1 port it plays like it was one of those sprite rip clones, like it was done on the beats of rage engine and then they totally fucked up, the performance is all over the place.

Double Dragon 2 plays ok it no way near as janky, it does have some of the weird performance issues though.

Double Dragon 3 This game is just bad, but the glaring thing is their is an item shop in this game that uses coins as in real money the problem is no arcade machine probably a left over from the android version which I am sure had some IAP. If someone figures this out let me know.

:Looks up reviews all those rose tinted steam reviews lol.

In it's current state I can't recommend it for more than a buck.

I'm pvping in dark souls as giant dad in the forest now that I've got the pc version connecting to people again. It's ok, I seem to get the same people over and over with Max nodes tho, on Xbox I get a lot more variety. But it's sweet regardless, got my grass crest link shield thanks to some visual mods

You have over 98 Million souls! How is that even possible to amass without loosing at one point?

Made a pvp build with an editor. I've actually made this exact same setup on Xbox but I'm not playing 30 hours to make a pvp build. This region locking is bunk tho, when you have to restart after a crash you don't get anything for so long, I hope they bother to fix the pc version

A Github issue is blowing up on Hacker News. Moving your Steam directory on Linux and then immediately restarting Steam will silently perma-delete all files on the system both internal drives and external.

keyvin on Github said:
I am not sure what happened. I moved the folder in the title to a drive mounted under /media/user/BLAH and symlinked /home/user/.local/steam to the new location.

I launched steam. It did not launch, it offered to let me browse, and still could not find it when I pointed to the new location. Steam crashed. I restarted it.

It re-installed itself and everything looked great. Until I looked and saw that steam had apparently deleted everything owned by my user recursively from the root directory. Including my 3tb external drive I back everything up to that was mounted under /media.

Everything important, for the most part, was in the cloud. It is a huge hassle, but it is not a disaster. If there is the chance that moving your steam folder can result in recursively deleting everything in the directory tree you should probably just throw up an error instead of trying to point to other stuff. Or you know, allow the user to pick an install directory initially like on windows.

My system is ubuntu 14.04, and the drive I moved it to was ntfs if its worth anything.

Until this ridiculously careless bug is fixed don't move your Steam directory on Linux.

Never crossed my mind but maybe I should spend some time in PVP and collect hundreds of thousands of souls to level up my character so that I have a much easier time with second half of my first playthrough.

Pvp is the only reason I still play it every day, it's a lot of fun. Forest is the area where you can get it nonstop so I almost always fight there, it gets crazy

The mask you have is freaking creepy, haha.
Are you a pro gamer or how come you're steamrolling all your invaders?

EDIT: And just as I write you die lol

Exactly.
Was promised options.
Even with going with a build for action. It's still a stealth game through and through.
Different ways to sneak around isn't the options i'm looking for.

Really?
You can't rambo it at all?
Because then the retardo boss fights make even less sense.

Yeah it's all kind of off.
Since those dumb boss fights were the only time where I could do that.

The police station is a great example of not being able to rambo it.
In theory you can. But on normal and the sheer amount of people you're
going to get messed up.

Fun fact: Uninstalling Half-Life 1 did basically the same thing on Windows a very long time ago because of a bug in Sierra's uninstaller! LOL!

i was thinking about the hotline miami 2 thing, how they added the option to "skip" the sexual assault scene, and i'm trying to remember other games that allowed you to skip sections of it because they were too violent or shocking or whatever

i know mw2 did with the no russian thing, but i can't remember if mw3 did, and i think maybe spec ops the line allowed you to skip the
white phosphorus
part? what other games have that?

appreciate any responses!

And let's not forget Myth II.
Hell, the *nix one is less evil, since it doesn't kill the actual OS ;)

... and that was one of their last (if not THE last) games on PC ... I'm not really sure I want Destiny on PC any more ;) lol

fun fact - I actually did experience the "pleasure" of uninstalling Myth II ;)

More animu games=more win!
More doesn't mean better though.
Especially if it is like Sakura Angels looking extremely cheap and almost like a clone of itself.
Not to mention shiny skin to the max and pudding-like, explosive boobs.

Honestly i'm going to stick with the more is better.
Regardless of quality. Sakura Spirit was bad, bur was competent enough.
Better than a lot of titles we see sneak through greenlight.
Plus more Anime/VN stuff just helps even more hit the steam store.
Hell at this point releases seem pretty common now, so that idea basically already works.

Who would ever do such a thing.

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

I'm fairly certain you can't skip Spec Ops scene, other than skipping cutscenes.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that part has invincible snipers so that you can't "just" fight your way past that area.

You can, and I did. I didn't even have points in cloaking in my first playthrough.

How did you even manage it?
I tried and it never worked out.
I was even putting all points into action related stuff from the get go.
Like I said the only thing I recall never having a problem with was the bosses.

So how come my steam client is now in a different language? Well its mixed main page is English but rest like wishlist, community etc is in German I think.

Damn man wolf among us is really fucking short, I would've been so upset if i waited months for just 1 episode of this game. ANYWAYSSSS EPISODE 3 SPOILERSZ:
OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK BLOODY MARY!! I'm gonna rip that hoe's throat out first chance I get. I hate cliche cocky villians like that, always wanna be so god damn arrogant when they got a little squad to back em up. Didin't kill dum tho, I wanted to but wolfy has to prove that he's better than them. Hopefully I don't regret letting that cunt walk. Wish I could've at least crippled him to make sure he won't be causing me any problems later on tho.
I'll do the last 2 episodes tomorrow, which will make it my 3rd game of the month!! I'll move on to bayo 2 afterwords, want to play something with some action after 2 RPGs and a point and click.

You think Episode 3 of TWAU is short, huh? Well in that case I have bad news for you...

I thought Ep1 was the best part of TWAU. It'll be interesting to see where you fall.

10mm pistol with silencer and laser is very useful, drop normal enemies like flies. Revolver with explosive ammo upgrade for close encounters, shotgun optional, remember to invest in Typhoon too. Heavy machine gun in mid to late game, then it's other heavy energy weapon of choice. Always bring all sorts of grenades and mines, and cover is still very important, you'll have better chance playing this as a TPS than FPS.

Dreadful. I figured the ports would merely be inadequate, but that sounds really really bad.
Good thing I passed on it.

It's not so much of being able to skip controversial things as it is the game just being bad, but you can skip pretty much anything in Alone in the Dark 2008.

As for Spec Ops, I don't think you can skip that part.

Brutal Legend allows you to bleep the language and censor the gore. It's not skipping as such, but hey. Can't think of other games though.

I don't mind that its short since I got it as a christmas gift from a gaffer, But I'm speaking from the point of view as if I actually bought the game, I'd be pretty upset on how short it is(at least compared to the other 2 telltale games I've played, which each ep was around 2 hours give or take. I'm talking about the walking dead season 1 and 2 btw, honestly i don't know if they've made anything before TWD). But besides that I'm actually really digging it. and yea, out of the 3 episodes I played today the first was the best.

The 50% off for previous owners now works on Cities XXL for people who got Cities XL through the humble bundle, for those that were concerned earlier. It's a pre-order discount only though.

Telltale made a lot of stuff before TWD.
Most of it wasn't very good though, with the Jurassic Park game as the lowest point... right before they bounced back with TWD.

Eh, that depends how much you enjoy the old point and click style of Adventure games. They were great if you did like them.

Not really.
They were middling p&c adventures with lots of pointless padding due to backtracking, and both Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island never reached the high points of the original Lucasarts games.
