Some people were mad at me for admitting that I had no regrets for exploiting playfire. I can't fault them, but I wasn't expecting to get insulted either since I explained very well in the past why I chose to do it. But as I said before, Playfire seems to be a very sensitive matter in this thread so I'll stay out of any further discussions about it . I want to think that the part about me winning my own giveaway was actually humorous and I didn't piss off anyone.

How can anyone be angry with the greatest modbot raffle of all time?

The entry numbers for non-free-for-all giveaways always make for an interesting study, and when the titles are of the quality Fuzz just gave away, even more so:

32 - Divinity: Original Sin
28 - Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
27 - Wolfenstein: The New Order
20 - Shovel Knight
15 - Transistor
17 - Astebreed
13 - Gods Will Be Watching
9 - Broforce
8 - Shantae: Risky's Revenge
6 - SpeedRunners
4 - Crimzon Clover: World Ignition
1 - Detective Case and Clown Bot in: Murder in the Hotel Lisbon

Great stuff, Fuzz, thanks - and congrats to all.

There's an activation throttle? How many games do you have to add before it throttles you? I think I added like seven or eight this morning from some old Humble Bundles I had lying around, and had no problems.

When using the client there's a redemption limit of 20 keys per half hour. This includes successful activations as well as unsuccessful activations (the latter of which also includes activations pertaining to games you already own). When using the OAuth-based system Humble and the like now use, though, the cooldown period also kicks in if you hit three consecutive unsuccessful activations attempts. If you hit the limit again within half of an hour of the cooldown being lifted, you'll be prevented from redeeming keys for a full hour.

I lost vs only 16 people? What happened to my swagger?

4 - Crimzon Clover: World Ignition
basically if you want it and don't have it yet, wtf are you doing?

I think it's more than 10 at least. I've seen accounts of people being locked out of activating keys for a short period of time when they activated 14 keys. It's supposed to be for invalid keys only, but sometimes it appears to lock you out with valid keys too.

Here's a Steam forum thread on it. Some posts near the end mention the limit being 25.

It's 20. Arthea decided to take one for the team and experiment yesterday.

What about the giveaways you won. Does that mean you don't exist? Like.... Whoa...

FUUUUUUUUUUUU waking up 10 minutes after the sweet nightly giveaway with like 5 games from my wishlist ended.

where is that guy anyway?

He got a life and Nintendo'd.

:(

Definitely miss him.

He's most definitely alive, but he's probably stuck in Nintendo threads like the Monster Hunter 3 OTs (Salsa if you see him, could you tell him to get back here asap?), or we can find him bragging about his kinda cool 80s music preferences.
not true, the only 80s music worth remembering is punk in all its variations, fuck them synths and them brutal reverbs on drums :p

Can someone tell me how far I got left in BioShock Infinite?

I'm at
the part where they are going after Comstock and I think they're in his building?

My god this game is a drag to play through.. It's pretty damn long.

Been so long since I played, couldn't tell ya. Though I didn't find the game to drag at all. I found it much better than that turd Bio 1.

That Ceiling Cat gift message.

I mean, at least you don't lie about using SAM to cheat, unlike some others :p

I always make a mistake during Rush hour.
Damn CSD can get hectic.

Rush hours were pretty easy for me until I got to the third star restaurant level.

Then everything went wrong :|

It's 20. Arthea decided to take one for the team and experiment yesterday.

Noted. That explains why I've never been affected by it.

The Cure though.

80s era Rush though.

80s RHCP though.

The Police though.

Take on Me though.

Safety Dance though.

Best thing about CSD in the bundle is that we're going to have data weeks and months after the bundle ended so we'll have data if and how being on a super cheap bundle effects regularly-priced sales.

What is the most tasteless Steam game you own?

Mine is probably Ampu-Tea...

Depends how you mean. If you mean tasteless as in "considered to be lacking in aesthetic judgment or to offend against what is regarded as appropriate behavior," well, I have South Park and I'm sure every sane individual has Saints Row the Third.

If you mean bland and insipid, Sakura Spirit.

Poor Cthulhu. I'm picturing it slumped in an arm chair, TV tray across it's lap with a notebook on top of it. The web browser is still open and there were multiple tabs open entering ModBot giveaways.

Well anyway after moaning and generally being a dick one of my mates has sent me a Destiny beta code hahaha. Well lets see how janky this on PS3 (asides from the Borderlands style jank it's obviously going to have).

Is Destiny actually good? Or is it one of those games that current gen owners will latch onto to justify their purchase?

Its sometimes difficult to separate the truth from post purchase rationalization.

You still own a PS3 right? You could find out first hand ;)

There's an activation throttle? How many games do you have to add before it throttles you? I think I added like seven or eight this morning from some old Humble Bundles I had lying around, and had no problems.

I see you've caved in then. From just having Shovel Knight as the sole game on your account to getting suckered in by the lure of bundles. It get's us all eventually.

Yes, unfortunately. I'm not at my desktop right now but it was around 10+, not including DLC.

I still haven't added the majority of them. In retrospect I should have kept up with my bundles and not purchased some of the present ones.
