Hahaha right now I'm just off to a village to find a merchant to clear out all the shit I've picked up (although tea bags are worth 2,300 ruppes or what ever fictional currency) and I can hear masses of gun fire. You'd think it was the rebels and the army going at it but no it's 4 guys trying to shoot an eagle out the air. There were 5 but the eagle killed one of them. Total fuckers!

Yo wtf rupees is not a fictional currency! :p

from someone who played Doom MP

They are fun, but this is coming from someone who loves Gears of War. I think executions just happen if you melee someone in the red glow. They should make them like Halo assassination animations, so you have to hold the melee button down to get it. TTK is noticeably longer than Halo 4's, but not hugely so. It's very fast paced, but I wouldn't call it a twitch shooter. If a bad player gets the jump on you, you can still swing it around. That said, you can get into some pretty great player duels. There is ADS, I never used it, did very well anyways. Someone on my team mentioned a battle rifle(Halo) type gun burst normal fire, was one shot ADS. Like Right Lifle from Halo 4 I guess. Most weapons here didnt have an alt fire, so ADS I dont think is critical to playing. We only got to play on one map, it played well for the 6v6 TDM we were playing. Plenty of different paths, even hidden ones I only discovered after my first time playing. It had a good flow as well, you quickly could memorize how to play each area in the map. The Demon spawn powerup was appropriately placed in an open spot for teams to fight over. While the rail gun and huge armor pack were a little harder to find. Map never felt too crowded, even when all the player converged. Visibility seems great, can see players across the map just fine.

-Not sure on strafe jumping, circle strafe yes
-No sprint button, movement speed is pretty quick, but feels great
-Shotgun loses damage pretty quickly after a distance. I would shoot players too far and get like 14 damage on them. It's pretty useful in close quarters, maybe a very slight buff would help.
-Yes
-I think so

Hahaha sorry what I meant in a roundabout way was another Ubisoft game, another broken economy system. Granted the game is set in the fictional country of Kurhat so I'm guessing they mad up the currency too but stuff has the most bonkers value. You can loot and sell stuff like vintage porn and broken syringes from 1,000's more than weapons cost.

While you're here though are we Rocket Leaguing latter on? Anyone else up for it? Don't worry about skill level or ping or anything. I'm busy for the next 5 or so hours but free from 5pm-ish GMT.

Chivalry is my new crack. Probably only for this weekend but yep, amazing. Last night I ended up with two teams that were both not very good except for one dude one each and they'd survive almost every round of Last Man Standing 'til the end and then duel each other. Sometimes with fists. Love the arena map that randomly changes layout between rounds. And it's easy to get into, there aren't too many hardcore player around and there's so much chaos on the battlefield that you can always get a few hits in.

Man, I said, I'm sorry :(

What did you do?
Me, half the game:

Probably teamkilled me a few times but it's hard to avoid really. I only get suspicious if it happens too often.
Watch your back if Ningen is on your team.

That's not fair, I only killed people that were soaked in blood, I was confused and thought were masons
maybe
:p

According to Marc this is completly wrong, their description of valve as too afraid to release a game because they might get negative backlash also seems wrong.

There was more hype for Half-life 2 than it is for half-life 3 now, most have just taken it as half-life 3 is cancelled or years away.

I was so bad. Experte and you really roughed me up the most. (Also fuck always-behind-you-Spirited! >:O)

The easy way to win is to "get behind the enemies lines"
I mean spawning behind you

Finally it's saturday, got so many games on my plate. I forgot all about mini ninjas so I started playing it again, I'd imagine I'm really close to the end of the game. I'm still on the 3rd ep of the wolf among us, ep1 started strong but ep2 was kind of a boring ep, I'm surprised there's nudity in the game but I haven't seen any in GoT, the art is pretty amazing in the wolf among us and mini ninja's simplistic art is also adorable and good looking.

Currently at around lvl13 in borderlands, I'm enjoying myself, only issue I have is that it's not a very balanced experience so far due to it being RPG-heavy and mostly relying on stats, like the missions labeled tough are too bullet spongey, and some of the more normal missions have enemies that die rather quick in comparison. It seems a lot of skills are passive and basically just altering your stats and refresh time, etc. Some of the guns do play a little different with different speed, stats and recoil so that's pretty cool. I kind of like the concept of games where you just live in a world driving around and running errands for people sometimes, like Rage, although the story is kind of weak, and I'm not sure if it'll get repetitive real soon.

I've also got the Witcher 3 which got better after the patch, the alternative movement is great, but I can't play those open world games for too long at a time.

As much as I love the exploration, crafting and anti social hunting mechanics of the Far Cry games sometimes it does take it's toll. So you have limited backpack space for all the shit you loot from boxes and dead guys which you can't pick and chose what you want but to clear it out you either discard it or sell it off. Problem is the game also does a Zelda on you where you have a limited wallet capacity until you craft the bigger upgrades. So I'm now out hunting about for the right animals to relieve me of my storage and monetary capacity woes. For the wallet I need to track down mythical Bharal because fucked if I could find any where the map says they are. When I do find them a dick of a honey badger scares them off so I had to Benny Hill it after them, waste half my arrows getting a clean kill, then grenade the honey badger to death as I unloaded 4 clips of assault rifle ammo into it and it still came after me jaws a nashing. And then after upgrading my wallet capacity I find that it's still not big enough after selling all this crap I'm picking up so to get the next wallet upgrade I now have to hunt down not 1 but 4 flipping rhino's. Can see this ending in tears to be honest.

Got too annoyed at my rare cheevo showcase being only Goat Sim, so I finally changed it:

I liked the rare cheevo showcase until I 100 %-ed Goat Sim and it became Goat Sim cheevo showcase :p I guess sooo many people have that game that even tho quite a bunch of people grab the cheevos they will always be "rare".

Oh, right, forgot to do the Gamesplanet deal rollover last night.
Wolf:TNO 75% off (cheaper than on Steam), Saints Row 50-80% off, Hitman 80% off, The Raven 80% off, South Park 67% off and more.

I'm interested.

Don't be. It's mercurysteam.
It'll look good, but play like ass, as usual.

What's hilarious it has been posted in that thread a couple of times and OP has been updated with it too, but majority keep ignoring it.

The know has an anonymous source and here we have the lead writer saying the direct opposite, I kinda guess on the lead writer being the guy telling the truth but who know.

And the know has had some things right and some things hasn't ( most of their videos is clickbaity and unoriginal almost feels like ripped from polygon)

Groupees second "positive" game is apparently Crab Cakes Rescue. Problem is all the reviews read like jokes.

Yeah, even bad games with a few reviews then to be positive on steam.

Indeed.
I read reports about 2 hours ago that the deal is gone. So apparently it's a glitch, then?
It was supposed to be in midweek sale in the future (next week?), it seems.

Probably. It ended around 11 hours ago, quickly after it started.
