ive already bought all the goddamn games. all the games the gaems i bought them all. Be lucky to get 20% off, steam sale is dead to me.

I hope Hollow Knight has a good discount during the Steam Sale, the only game I really want to get during the sale.

It was like 20% off in the recent GOG sale. Hopefully its a bit better for Steam tomorrow but probably not. Still a fairly recent release.

I'm dying to try Black Desert too but I wouldn't know where to start. The last Korean MMO I played is Blade and Soul. I also played the first few months of Legion's launch.
If it goes on sale tomorrow I might give it a try
i kinda want to try that too but i also dread the idea of playing an mmorpg ever again

I needed it for Quantum Break before it came to Steam. It's still technically the only way to play some newer games coming out on PC- Gears, Halo Wars 2, etc.

I'm not interested in rolling back to Windows 7. I'm sick of the entire OS line.

Only UWP garbage. Thankfully no one has used that exclusively on their games other than MS and Vulkan seems to be having a much bigger adoption.

Only the best racing game of this gen Forza Horizon 3.

So far, so good then. I won't make the switch until something I really want comes out, or maybe I can hold out until a post-10 Windows that might be good.

In 15 hours? I thought it will happen in few minutes. XD.

And now Hitman is 66%, played the demo and loved it. T-T
Will wait till the sale starts to be sure, but I'm pretty convinced I'll buy Hitman as well.

I'm gonna try so hard not to buy shit this sale.

It's so weird being on the other side. Hoping people buy your shit.

I've been around in SteamGAF long enough to know that you have games on Steam, but I'm not sure which ones they are haha If I don't already have them, I'll totes pick up one or more during the sale.

I'm working on some pretty big wishlist updates for Enhanced Steam though they won't be out before the sale starts (and probably not before the sale ends, either!). One of the big things I'm updating is the ability to assign games on your wishlist to a self-defined category and the ability to sort by / filter individual wishlist categories (think: Amazon's multiple wishlist feature). I'm also working on pulling in tag data so that users can sort their wishlists by tags / genres.

That sounds really really useful, thank you so much for the amazing work you put into this project!

it's really cool that there are no daily sales or anything, tomorrow it'll all be out in the open for us to choose

such a better system

Mine is kinda the same way (a hot mess mismatch of different things) - it's pretty small but it's mostly stuff that's PC only and typically >$30 so hopefully most of it will go on sale and be pretty reasonable.

It still baffles me how barebones the wishlist is on Steam considering how much data Valve has for each game and how empowering users with this data usually leads to a higher click-through and purchase rate.

I had no idea about such extension. Just downloaded it on Chrome, it's pretty awesome!

Stop posting anime

Should I call Banpuncher?

Yeah, I'll be staying at my parents-in-law in the country-side starting tomorrow for a whole week. There's no wi-fi and barely any broadband connection in the area, and I'd be kicking myself if I were to miss daily/flash sales due to my circumstances there. With the new system, I can just hoard my purchase from day 1 or wait until later when I get back home.

It took all the gusto of the sales for me. They took out the dailies and flash sales so everything remains at a standard sales price instead of getting a bigger cut.

it's definitely less "fun", but i don't think being chained to checking stream every 6 hours or waiting for two weeks to actually buy anything was that fun to begin with lol

this is much better

It's a loss of option ultimately. You don't have to be chained and fervently check every rotation, you could just opt for the regular sales price if you want -- which is the only choice we have now, or be more savvy about it and get an even better price.

flash sales were the same as dailies and discounts haven't really gotten worse, so i don't see ppl actually losing anything

Uh yes they have. I've been waiting on a bunch of games to go back to their historic lows, but most companies seem to have forgotten the times they used to put their games 75-90% off. Even 66% off is too much for some.

So... how possible is it that stormblood might be part of the sale ?:x
Very very very low to none possibly since it officially came out only two days ago. At best you will get a discount on realm reborn and heavensward with an advertisement screaming "hey, this new thing called stormblood is out, check it out".

I was afraid of that :/ don't get me wrong playing the PS4Pro version is fun and all but having siblings and they want to use the console for something else is tough lol

I don't miss the savvy part at all. Pretty stressful event to tell the truth with lots of lost sleeping. I rarely sleep as it is but I do sleep and it matters. But missing out on two to three rotations always sucked when sleeping those previous few hours a better fit my health.

I can get my kick from haggling with locals if I really want to on my own time.

Suuuuuure.

it's weird how some people don't throw their moneyzzz on every sale, right? i'm one of them.

the only thing i'd get is if there's a 75% for gta 5, dark souls 3 or dishonored 2. and since all those are pretty unlikely to get that steep, i'm definitely holding out.
Yeah, the thing is, I can't buy games even if I wanted to because there's no coin on my budget for video games at the moment. So it's not even about showing restraint. I just don't have anything to spend on.

Instead I am going to clean up my wishlist. There's 937 games on there, and I can clearly cut it down.

can't think of many examples where i felt that way honestly. i'll believe you on the basis that i don't follow this stuff too closely since i don't have the will/need to but i haven't felt like i was buying less games or missing out on more stuff than before

there might be some optimization some really devoted people might've missed but for the rest of us it's nice to just be able to buy what you want straight away instead of having to stress over it for two weeks

So is Ass Creed Liberation a full experience compared to the other games or a cut down version? It's the only one I've never played.

Yes, it started as a Vita game so it has much smaller maps. It is surprisingly deep though, with its own costume system where dressing as a slave/socialite/assassin gives you different abilities. It also has a full trading/shipping mini game similar to the one in AC3 where you try to make money buying goods from one area and selling them elsewhere.

Dark Souls 3 random stuff

if you kill the
lady in the chair
near the start, before the second boss (
Vordt
or whatever hes called), it actually triggers the
dancer
fight? O_o

fucking From, why you so cool? Also only a masochist would do that of course :(
