Your jerk of a main character is protecting a girl priestess. This girl becomes possed by a demon girl. anime love triangle ensues. The other charcters are re-hashes of Grandia 1 charcters. You deal with fall-out from the ancient war between "God" and "The Devil"
Much like Dragon Quest VII, "The Devil" actually won and is passing himself off as "God." Unlike DQ VII, God is actually dead in Grandia 2
Gameplay was great though.
Yeah Grandia 3's story is even worse, but, again, the gameplay was great.
Not sure why I personally couldn't stand Grandia Extreme, because basically that was the poin tof that game. Oh well...
I've been playing the XB1 version for the last week, it's been a lot of fun.
Then again, aside from AC3, I've generally enjoyed the series.
MKX will likely hit 50% off sooner than GTAV.

3 is fantastic.
The HL2 inspiration is obvious in certain parts but it's a really good game in its own right, one of my favorite FPS' ever.
well, 50 off on Steam is current nuuvem price tho
i'd go the distance and get GTAV if it wasnt for the fact that I don't feel confident in running it well with a 2gig 680

That would require Rockstar dropping CD-key.
They did not do this for LA Noire or Max Payne 3, despite these games using Steamworks as DRM too. (Steamworks+Gameshield+Rockstar Social Club)
Reminder: Don't buy it if you own Unity's Season Pass. Also, I love that it's going to be three separate apps rather than three separate campaigns within the one game.
