Why does the Ubi forum require a captcha to post anything?

They were probably having spam bot issues.

Speaking of Anno, I e-mailed Ubi earlier about Anno 1701 being completely unavailable digitally and was told that my message will be sent to the relevant department, so who knows, maybe I'll get lucky twice... oh, and I of course also reminded Ubi about the incomplete King Kong and Tintin listings in the Steam registry. I even made a thread on Ubi's forums in case anybody here with a Uplay account wants to add their two cents. I see DocSeuss has dropped in. <3

Don't forget Pandora Tomorrow Jase! Of course, that may require more investment than the other games.

Croixleur is a pretty fun arena/challenge based action game. The combat isn't deep, but very fast and enjoyable.

You should try it out if you've got it from one of the bundles it was in. Definitely had a fun 2 hours and will play it some more later to go for cheevos.

Don't get Docc started on Wolfenstein. I doubt it will scratch his itch as the previews make it look like an extremely linear modern FPS.

I actually really want Wolfenstein, and think that the previews show a game much like Last Light, which starts out deceptively linear, then drastically changes up the formula and blows your mind with awesomeness. Despite the worrying width of some of the corridors earlier in the game, later-game footage seems to show some fantastic combat spaces, and that feedback is glorious. I can't wait for the game.

And I mean it, I honestly can't wait. I need some other shooter to play.

What kind of shooters do you like ? I mean would you appreciate say a less polished janky shooter or something a bit higher budget ?

But mostly stuff I can move around in a LOT with great weapon feedback. I've been replaying a bunch of stuff lately, but it's just... ugh. I need something new. Shooter, why can't you be as common as all those idiots say you are?

BF4, seriously, I didn't like 3, but 4 is great with all the naval stuff.

Garry's Incident is 2$ right now on Steam, did it improved since its launch or is it still a broken, unfinished mess?

This may seem like a weird suggestion but the original Soldier Of Fortune. I replayed that last year and it was glorious. Such a great game even now, that and Soldier Of Fortune 2. Though I kinda prefer 1's singleplayer.

SOF is a really good game series (well, 1 and 2 were good).

Have you tried Lost Alpha yet, DocSeuss?

Yeah, my boys at Raven did good :) Then fucking Activision gave the series to their god damn no name fuckin value brand to shit out SoF 3. Fuckers.

If you pre-purchased Dead Island: Riptide way back when, restart Steam to receive two gift copies of Dead Island: Epidemic, a game that you likely have already.

Bethesda just tweeted Wolfenstein system requirements. They are light.

Well, like every other upcoming next-gen game they are asking for an i7, and while we have yet to discover whether its all marketing (more than likely) or an actual requirement, it is a quite demanding spec.

Other than that, yep, looks light enough. Games on the different id Tech iterations have always been among the smoothest games with my different rigs.

I wasn't aware this was out yet, I need to go get my key from the bundle (I still recall when they didn't want to give keys out at the time).
Busy week and Dark Souls 2 have kept my attention out of releases, so I completely missed this release, thanks for reminding me.

Quick, quick someone make a thread so everyone can over react about the i7 or AMD equivalent requirement.

Be interesting to see what Machinegames have managed to do with iD Tech 5 and Megatextures up close. Rage did look great at the time at a distance but due to the nature of how a whole texture is wrapped around an object it didn't look so pretty up close. Infact one of Carmack's keynotes at Quakecon was quite informative to watch regards to the tech.

I had to screenshot this since this room is essentially hardcore, filthy, nasty porn for Isaac players.

Child's Heart gave me a lot of hearts to use on the blood donation machine, which dropped an IV bag, which I milked to give me money for the Portable Slot in the shop, the hearts from which I then used on the IV bag and so on. Then I realized that if I do this in the super secret room... Holy shit.

(For non-players: all those white hearts are permanent life upgrades and they're normally very rare.)

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Have we gone a single page without someone asking about the May Day Sale? Mission Accomplished.

Come on now, we are not talking about Bad Rats.

Major difference between Bad Rats and Battlefield 4: the majority of people shitting on Bad Rats haven't played it.

Holy shit indeed! So basically any regular heart dropped in that room drops as an eternal heart? And here I've always been passing over the portable slot machine.
