Sigh another good game i failed to get to on steam in time, thanks for the info , this is the second game after missing out on outrun coast 2 coast on steam i regret not getting.
I'd say it's also a dick move to bundle a game right after sale.
The refund option says it's okay to refund it "because it's cheaper somewhere else"

I know jshackles isn't doing idlemaster anymore, but does anyone have any idea why I have so much trouble with it? It never seems to idle correctly when multiple games are going on. For example it was just sitting at 1.9 despite all of the games being at 2.3 hours once I reset idlemaster. Numerous times I will reset idlemaster and the times it grabs are wrong as well. Such as saying all of the games are 1.9 and one is 1.5, despite all of them being started at the same time. I mean it's still better to deal with this than to do each one solo, but I don't get why I keep having this issue. When others don't seem too.

So? Main attraction is Rocket League and it's at the same price as the sale. Refunding it just to get a few extra games is being greedy and entitled, in my opinion.

If you bought it and played more than the 2 hours sure. If you bought it and didn't even touch it, there's no reason not to.
File > Settings > Idling Behavior > Try last option?
Also, Maybe tick ignore Steam client status if you don't have privliages.

I noticed that if you have the option to idle all games to 2 hours first enabled and you are idling a lot of them that way, Idle Master gets stuck once they hit 2 hours and you have to close it and reopen it to get it to continue idling games. If you're only idling a few games like that, Idle Master will handle them fine. I haven't bothered to look at the code to figure out why that is, but I can confirm that issue.

Battlefield 1's campaign will be pretty set-pieces and QTE's, an excuse to go all around the world, and an unexpected betrayal/death.
There was actual gameplay there. Like 1.5 seconds of it but still

wtf is wrong with me! I'm actually hyped for a BF game...maybe the soundtrack they chose for the trailer is just bringing back good memories of when I was young..and just had nothing to worry about.

Do you get the same thing when idling single games by themselves? I know Valve has put a few "anti-idle-master" things into their back end (the quotes are because it's just an assumption though likely these are account security issues being patched). I also know that sometimes these updates roll out to certain accounts and not to others. Having gameplay times not updated serverside when multiple games running is, I believe, one of these measures.
I doubt Steam would refund if you've over 2 hours anyway with such reason.

The setting is like Übercool and interesting, but i have zero interest in Battlefield anymore. A shame really. Maybe it's going to have an actually good singleplayer campaign this time around. One can hope.

You misunderstand. I should clarify that I play mostly single-player/campaign and hybrids like The Division, etc. seem to falter greatly in that aspect. The modes generally feel tacked on and underwhelming.
Will be cool to see how the Ottoman horses do vs the machinery of the West (I expect it'll turn out just about as well as it did in real life).
Didn't read this anywhere, but do we get to ride horses into battle?
I like that BF is going back to what it does best (imo) whilst COD just goes to futuristic and becomes machine vs machine.

Hmm, I think it might be my account then. It seems to happen no matter how many games. Once it's all past 2 hours though it's fine. So I guess they have done something about that. I have to watch the idling to 2 hours but then once it's just checking cards it fine. So I guess they did something about checking for game time.
That's my bad meant if you bought it and never played it.

I have the 660M, it ran fine apart from some unusual slowdown at the start of one particular game.
It's kind of an achievement. The first BF had an really amazing themesong and it got progressively worse with every new entry.
Funny coming from a company with great sound design. Let's hope they realize their mistake for future trailers.

Battlefield 1 looks kinda cool, but (like many people have said) that remix was just completely out of place there. The whole "vibe" is totally off, even though the setting is great and ripe for exciting games to be made.
At this point though, Valiant Hearts looks like a more thought out and historically accurate representation.
