The only downside to that is that some of the bosses can be pretty hard in NG+ especially if you just speedrun to the necessary areas without doing some proper levelling. I ran into that issue a lot in Dark Souls II since I was able to get to the first DLC area in less than an hour in my fresh NG+ save. It kinda killed my desire to play the other two until I am ready for another actual playthrough.

with resident evil revelations out of the way I will move on to the superior survival horror, the last of us. Hopefully my save doesn't get screwed up like last time.
once that game is done (by month end if it goes well) I will trade my ps3 towards the purchase of a wii u bundle of some sort and become a proper pc gamer.

It's strange, but I can't think of many games coming out in 2015 that I'm excited for. Elite Dangerous is the only one that comes to mind, maybe Starbound to finally get updated to it's release version (if they make it in 2015). American Truck Simulator too but I don't even know if that is slated for 2015 or not.
Other than those I can't think of any I'm excited for. Sure there are games I would like to pick up someday but I'll wait for sale prices down the road. For example, Civ BE, I know I'll get it someday but I'm still not done playing Civ 5 as I still enjoy it greatly, so I don't really need a new Civ game right now. Legend of Korra looks great but I'm in no rush to play it. I'm honestly more looking forward to the Steam sales of next year to see if games from last year go on a big enough sale for me to purchase them. Games like Dark Souls 2, Shadow of Mordor, Defense Grid 2, Age of Wonder III, and so on. I'm more looking forward to playing LAST years games than I am looking forward to NEXT years games.
I guess I'm just happier gaming behind the curve than on it.

Bethesda: I heard off hand that their next game isn't either Fallout 4 or a TES game (which are in stages of development).

... meanwhile v1.14 of Euro Truck Simulator 2 is slowly trucking along. It looks like we might not get Scandanavia DLC along with the update and it will be a separate add-on. Hope it's cheap.
Boy these guys work fast. It was just July 2014 when they had their big v1.11 update. But I wonder why do they keep working further East and North of Europe when they could just finish off the rest of the West.

Truthfully, i dont see myself doing the infinite souls glitch unless i hit some sort of wall getting to the DLC. By the end of DS, i was rocking a lightning zweihander that was doing something well north of 600 damage, making most enemies a 1-2 hit kill and making it relatively easy to solo the bosses. I'm just so annoyed that the game didn't even offer some sort of warning near the end that i was going to get straight dumped into NG+ that i'm almost tempted to break it just to exact revenge against it, haha.

exactly right, and I'm sure there will be a great many other fantastic indie games on the horizon (hotline miami 2) that will keep me occupied without the need for new gear as well.
the AAA scene only has a few games that I want to play right now and by next year they will be much cheaper anyway. I don't mind being lttp on everything.
Sometimes I don't understand how some of you guys can buy every bundle there is. Even though you won't even play 95% of the games you bought. But you will buy them for that +1?

The weird thing is that the Dracula Trilogy is three separate games whereas Dracula 4 & 5 is actually the one game named Dracula 4 & 5.

I know for a fact I'll be buying this game eventually, I almost picked it up last week, but I'm holding off to see how much they can flesh it out for release. Someday in the near future though this game is going to eat up a ton of my time, I can tell.

I noticed that. And looking at Dracula 4 & 5's store page, there are three development teams listed. That's some crazy math right there. Three developers. Two games. One SKU.

For one game, yeah it's a little weird. I make an effort to try other exclusives when I get a platform.
I bought a PS3 pretty when MGS4 came out because dammit I needed MGS4. While I was "forced to buy a PS3" for that game I eventually acquired around 20 or so more exclusives to the platform to actually make it sort of worthwhile.

The Order looks interesting, too, but yeah, my PS4 isn't getting a lot of love. if CODAW is any good i'll probably buy it there since i prefer to play my online shooters with a controller and against others who are also using a controller, and i always end up buying an online shooter every year because it's an itch i like to occasionally scratch, but outside of that, it's hard to get excited for the monthly ps+ drop of 2-3 indie games that i got 2 years ago in a humble bundle for a dollar each
