At the point you are, no there's no reason. When you get a bit further in, you can unlock other things to do to them instead of interrogating.
There's still never any reason to choose the kill option if the interrogate option is available (if you have intel on every captain/warchief, this option won't be present anymore).

Ah k. Just wondering since most coupons are not usable when a game is on sale. I've been disappointed more than once from that happening.

Edit: Erm, it is vanilla Steam that has the issue. When I tired with ES disabled a few days back it seemed to work normally.
Woah Project Nimbus looks sweet. It's just the type game I've been looking for really which is Mecha plus high speed combato. Astebreed kind of scratched that itch, but just not what I was looking for. Watching the gameplay videos Im really getting some slight ace combat/armored core vibes for some reason. Perhaps it's just because how the hud looks and lock on system works. I need to play it!

If it's that they sometimes automatically switch to a different inventory (say, you click on TF2 inventory and it goes back to Steam inventory) then it's not ES's fault, as it happens to me in the client as well.

If you like wacky humour and retro throwbacks, play Jazzpunk ASAP if you got it in the latest Humble Bundle. It's very short (2 to 3 hours to get every achievement, and that's including multiple tries on some chapters to figure out how to get them), so it's an easy -1 for your backlog!

Sorry, you're right it is vanilla Steam. When I first noticed the issue I disabled ES and after a few clicks it seemed to work fine so I wrongly assumed it was the plugin. Had I spent more time trying to ascertain the cause it would have been clear ES was not at fault, apologies.

So I just started playing Ghostbusters, and my god the built-in mouse acceleration is making this game unplayable with a mouse & keyboard. And sadly, there doesn't seem to be a fix for it.
Oh well, I just have to stick with the 360 controller for this game.
