It still amazes me that we got a PS3 exclusive with a custom engine as a port. A good one, too!

Koei Tecmo would be wise to put the NG games on Steam. Always good to have more character action games, and they're much more likely to sell now than last decade.

I recommend it if you like atmospheric story games, there's a great sense of mystery and dread on the island you explore. Main complaints were that it gets a bit repetitive after a while, every map you basically gather clues in light world and dark world and then talk to npcs that reveal the story, but I didn't mind. Combat is simple but satisfying, I dig the bows and old muskets. Also, game has best tree swaying ever.
Oh nice, the Transistor soundtrack is 50% off too. That's instabought.
Betrayer's one of my favourite games this year, and I agree with all of this. The atmosphere is fantastic, aided by the wonderful art direction and sound design. The gameplay gets a bit repetitive though.

Finished Bayonetta 2 yesterday and yea... that's my GOTY so far
Also started playing Sunset Overdrive and I haven't had this much fun playing an open world game since Sleeping Dogs. Loving it. My consoles have gotten some serious play time recently. While I'm sure I'll put in a lot of time into Beyond Earth it's a disappointment compared to these 2.
Edit: Oh shit DMC4 is $5. So bought.

There are checkpoints before bosses, you fight them till they have a pixel of life and then let them win. Repeat.
Use the bloody palace to git gud. It helped me quite a bit, but it's been a long time since I last played the title.
Not exactly. Mission 18 or 19 has you play the dice minigame again, and ultimately has you fight most of the bosses again, but this is only playable as Nero. I can't remember if Credo is present or not.
Then there is the Bloody Palace, which has you fight through hundreds of floors full of fights in succession, with most of the Bosses included (Credo does show up here), but it takes a while to get through the normal fights to get to the bosses.
There isn't a straight up Boss Rush mode though. There really should be though.
Edit: If you just want to fight the one boss, the fastest way is going to be just replay the mission.

I bought it and I think it's pretty good. I like it more than Bastion. I wasn't a big Bastion fan, though, and I like RPGs a lot (Transistor is more RPG-like than Bastion).

Are there enough fixes out there yet for Fallout 3 to make it an enjoyable experience on Windows 7? I've always avoided it because of all the bugs/crashes I've heard about.

I'm assuming its pretty much like bastion. while bastion was an alright game, its not worth anything more than $5 imo, gets boring like midway though, plus its short. I'm gonna wait it out. who knows, maybe when I'm finally ready for it it'll be included in a humble bundle.
