Remaster is still worth playing over the original.

I don't see what's wrong with OpenBOR. It's a long time since I used it myself and I have no idea how it got updated over the years but used well it could create a fun beat em up. Most modern beat em ups hardly match it.

I would do it if steam held all the custom images. They are still stored locally and manually linked, right? If custom grid images had cloud support it'd be more worth the time investment.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Now just take your shirt off and take another.
Played a bit of Price, game feels interesting for mystery fans with a tinge of creepy horror.
The mix between the heavy atmosphere and the art (especially some of the little reaction faces) creates the right effect to make me feel uneasy.
Music is nice, presentation and art in general too. The only downside I could notice is some problems with certain phrasings.
I think I'll reward this free game by buying the ost and artbook.

About 15 hours in God Eater, chapter 6 and somehow the enemy variety is... disappointing. I am fighting the same enemies again and again and its not even really hard.
Playing Toukiden and God Eater somehow shows, that only MH actually offers engaging boss fights. In MH it depends on your gear, on your strategies, on your team and on the destroyed enemy parts whether you can finish an enemy.
In God Eater its just slashing the enemy to death same as in Toukiden.
Even if the enemy changes colour in God Eater, it doesnt learn any new attack paterns. Its just the same enemy over and over again but instead of having a fire attack it has an ice attack or thunder attack.

Yeah, there's a definitely a stretch where you only encounter different Fallen variants, which was a little dissappointing. They have a different element, slightly different design and slightly different attacks... but the basic patterns are the same.
I've just started Difficulty 11 now and 7-10 were a bit better on that front.
Difficulty-wise... story missions are mostly fairly easy (guessing from what you wrote there's one really difficult mission coming up soon for you, but that's the exception). There are a few free missions that will wreck you hard, but overall the game really leans towards the easier side.
I'm still having a ton of fun though.

Ok, now I feel silly. Not sure if it didn't appear before because the installation wasn't complete yet or if I just didn't see it, but in the properties window there's an option to change language. Phew.
I had my best run ever. Ran to hideout to grab a mine, forgot the controls and planted the mine the moment I picked it up instead of concealing weapon. Two seconds later I blew myself up and all that took less than a minute.

Anyone else having trouble uploading screenshots right now? I just captioned 50 fucking screenshots and none will upload.
Edit: Oh, it's specifically my Obduction screenshots, which I took using the in-game utility and then copied into my Steam screenshot folder. Did Valve block doing that?

There's some kind of bug when you upload screenshots taken outside of Steam. You have to copy a screenshot and add a _vr at the end and have both in the folder. It only uploads the normal one though.

Yea this is why I didn't get it. Somehow MH is the only game in the genre that provides fun, challenging fights that require more than just hitting the mob over and over with no other thought. It's the only genre I can think of that has one game series miles past the rest.
