I get all excited when I see Aquaria keys being given away. Another chance for someone new to play the game!

(Please play it.)

All right SteamGAF, I've got a big, big, big giveaway planned for later, but first, an appetizer. Instead of going through ModBot for this, it'll just be an old-fashioned picture-answer trivia contest.

The Prize: FTL Faster Than Light (Steam key, purchased from Amazon yesterday)
The Question: A few weeks ago, I made an interesting Music CD purchase at a local thrift shop. What did I purchase? I want the answer in the form of an image, so the first person to post the correct album front cover in this thread wins the prize.

Clues:
1) General clue:
It's music related to a game.
2) Useless clue:
ISBN4-87188-209-8
3) Useful clue:
N30D-017

Good luck!

EDIT: Carfo wins! The answer was the Final Fantasy V: Dear Friends OST!
Thanks for playing, everyone. Look to the Steam thread in a few hours, when I start the first round of my big giveaway!

Man, replaying system shock 2 is an amazing experience.
It's been a long time since a game could get my pulse racing without resorting to stupid jump scares.

wtf I just beat Hotline Miami and it appears I stopped getting achievements at some point. Got about 4 and then nothing (e.g. beating the game). Steam overlay stopped working as well...

The Total War series improves in a sense like a sports franchise with incremental steps forward. So the combat is a more refined version of Medieval in Shogun 2 so it's the best currently out.

Naval combat is good.

Motherhumpin SAMURAI.

SAMURAI.

Shogun 2 all the way.

SAMURAI
Yeah it looks awesome but I can probably run Medieval 2 on medium/high

And it's cheaper. Any more GAF impressions of Medieval 2?

I already have ftl but I like the challenge, so my guess is Diablo 3.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
I'm not getting the "Set a profile background"-meta achievement, even though I bought a TF2-background for my profile (and enabled it, of course) :( Anyone have a clue what's going on?

I have a bunch of spare keys from HBs. Is there a way i can check which ones are good to give away?

If you already own the game in steam, try to register it and it should come up with a message that you already own the game. If the key has been used, it will say duplicate key or some such.

So how do the cards drop now?
One friend who just started idling for cards got all the cards from 4 games in two hours. But my other friend has been idling 7 games at once for 22 hours and has gotten only two cards from half of the games so far.

It been a while but I really enjoyed Medieval 2. Then again I am a huge Total War fan in general. Shogun 2 is the best in the series(so far Rome 2 is coming out in a few months) so when you get a PC that can run that game I highly recommend grabbing that.

As everyone inches for that special post number, it's going to be fun to watch as the page sporadically increases every few minutes to get the count up, then a sudden deluge of responses just before it hits.

I know this post will get buried, but for those who have not yet bought Fallout: New Vegas:
  • The Ultimate Edition is $4.99
  • The DLC is totally worth it
  • If you're still hesitating, you should rethink your life
For those who have not yet played Fallout: New Vegas:
  • The essential "fixes bugs but doesn't reinterpret content" mod is MMUE
  • The game is built on a shitty Bethesda engine that's prone to crashing on machines with more than one core. This page will mostly fix all that (ctrl+F "iNumHWThreads").
  • F5 is quick save, just in case the game still crashes on you.
  • Charisma is a dump stat-- spend skill points on the skills it governs instead of raising it (unless you really want the Animal Companion perk, which doesn't do very much).
  • There is no wrong way to play or build your character. You'll need to play a few times to see everything, so don't fret about having a "perfect" game.

Is there an MMUE mod for the base game too? Cant seem to find one
