so, is there any game out there that can measure with F-Zero GX? any indie game or whatnot?

this kind of thing is up there with 'RE1-like survival horror' on my list of specific genres with insufficient (nonexistent?) indie representation. I got Wipeout HD with my new PS3 recently but...I dunno, Wipeout never really came close to F-Zero for me.

I mean, it'd print money! These genres have big dedicated fanbases that got snubbed by publishers for an entire super-long console generation. I suppose they're harder to make than Trials and Amnesia clones though.

Seeing as how even Wipeout doesnt sell a lot, I wouldnt hold my breath ;(, Wipeout HD would be glorious on the PC

Spent around 30 minutes using remote desktop to my home PC, downloading and installing the HD mods for System Shock 2, from my office PC. Can't wait to get home and find out how it looks.

I have absolutely no extra money, is Resident Evil 6 likely to go on sale again? I own the game of course given my posts on it(although most of my time is on the PS3 version) but I don't own any of the multiplayer dlc which looks rad.

Mass Effect 3 was a great game except for the ending.
No, it wasn't. Too focused on the shooter side of things, fighting mechs and introducing a ridiculous
ninja
. The quest log is terrible, the side quests are really bad, and it has some frustrating and annoying moments.

It has a couple of great scenes too, so it's not a horrible game, but I remember starting to hate it even before I was 1/2 through.

Holy shit I think this is the first time I have seen a soccer game in a Steam sale.

Should I get it?

There tends to be a certain amount of repetition amongst the front-page deals, but even if the game stays in the shadows, Steam's larger sales typically end with an "encore" featuring the more popular deals, so there's a chance it'll reappear then.

Is Trine 1 + 2 worth it if you're going through it just by yourself?

Tried the Trine 2 demo and boy this game sure is beautiful.

It feels like a game I'll play in the winter, huddled up behind my computer with some hot chocolate.

There is a getaway card of it. I guess when it becomes a daily deal, it will get cards

I played through the main game of Trine 2 by myself, and I enjoyed it

I played them all by myself and enjoyed them.
