Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
I'll wait a bit just in case Ys goes on sale later today but I'll pick it up before expiration tomorrow.

Looks like I'm spending $20 on Lego Batman 2 :(

If I don't own anything from today's (XI) Indie Bundle, should I get it? Hydrophobia and Waveform looks interesting.

Well, besides Dead Rising, there were no discounts for Capcom games at all right?

Devil May Cry 4 was 50% off the entire sale.
Probably a mistake in capcom part!
(Still waiting for the game to be 75% off. it was only that low once for a few hours a year or two ago as a daily. before capcom realized the mistake and bumped the price to 50% off)

Pancakes

hot, steaming, as melted butter slips into the cracks, drizzled with sticky sweet syrup OH GOD
Thread moving like damn, but wanted to ask,

Somebody sell me on SPAZ.

It's a space RPG where you have a small fleet of ships (up to 5) that go around the galaxy fighting off zombies and the evil government that is chasing you. There is a heavy amount of customization that you can use on your ships and it's a great deal of fun if you like min/maxing like me.

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
Isn't the recap day typically the highest selling / greatest hits of the sale?

Yeah, but my thought is that flash deals made that obsolete. Some of these are new.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
No, I watched some gameplay videos, it looks boring
Every Pixeljunk-game, Bastion, Limbo, Braid and every point'n'click-adventure game in existence looks boring in video-format. All of the previously named games are at least solid experiences.

Catch my drift? Bastion isn't a game you watch, it's a game you play and fall in love with.

ON TOP OF THAT

I'll gift a free copy of bastion to someone who meets these requirements:

-Make me a funny paint drawing about cheese.
-Must be within the first 5 pictures in response to this.
-I pick the winner from those 5.

I see what you did there.

Yeah SPAZ is a fun game in an OCD way (if you're of the must-explore-everything, must-collect-every-ship mentality). Experimenting with different ship/weapon configurations is a major part of it too. Every ship has certain strengths/weaknesses and different weapon mounts.

Wanna hear a good joke? Waste your time helping me! LOL!
Was hoping for another Crusader Kings II sale as I don't have a credit card for the Amazon deal. Was also hoping for a Mount & Blade deal.

Oh God, what have you done? I was content with just Ys: Oath, but because of that pic I had to get Bastion too. And then Psychonauts. And then the Bioshock pack. And then Hydrophobia because at that price why the hell not?

ffffuuuuuuuuuucccck.... I will never have the time to play half of them... a bloo bloo bloo

grabbed the tom clancy pack for 39.99

17 games (i didn't have) averaging around 2.35 each

i probably spent.... $100 total this sale?

27 games so around, 3.70 bucks a game

On the upside, those are all fantastic games. Well done.

I thought Bastion was boring while playing. Though I'll agree it's solid and worth the price they're asking.

I was hoping SF would go back up and Alpha Protocol would get 75% or more. :[

Anyone else getting one of those creatures with an exclamation mark over its head instead of the Tom Clancy Pack window picture? Maybe I just won a million steam dollars!

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol

It's boring if you make it boring. Turn on all the idols and experience the game it was meant to be played. Learn enemy patterns, change your gear depending on the situation, play reactionary with counter-blocking and long-range only. You can make it insanely fun.

It just means the image didn't load properly or something.

Bastion is really terrific. I found the gameplay fine and you can mix and match so many skills and weapons then turn on different tombs to adjust the difficulty and other things. But it's really the way the narration, art, and music come together to create this experience you can genuinely feel. While some people do look at only the singular game mechanic of attacking, i think for so cheap it's worth seeing if it touches you or not on a different level than that. Unless you're really just not that kind of person.
