Final haul. The Longest Journey includes Dreamfall (I will install it after beating TLJ), Binding of Isaac is actually only its DLC since I already had the base game.

I'm so happy for the Saints Row 3 sales. I hope all this sales (amazon, steam and other) give THQ some breathe. They deserve it with its upcoming lineup.

What about the story. I play games mainly for story, and the story in TLR seemed uninteresting to me in the demo.

I bought a lot more this year than I was planning. The last few sales, I've tried to limit the games I bought to the games I intended on playing in the relatively near future. I worked through a good portion of my backlog over the last few months so, I said "fuck it" this time around and just bought any game I was interested in that I didn't feel was going to drop significantly in future sales or a game I intend to play soon.

The better news is my oldest son just turned 10 and as an extra birthday gift I opened up a steam account for him and bought him his first game, Terraria.

Football Manager 2012 because who even cares about soccer Splice sticks out as the worst bargain and one of the more expensive items in your cart, but none of Cipher Prime's games have hit the 75% off mark yet. If you can wait until December, there might be a better discount. At the very least it'll probably be 50% off again.

With the crazy playtimes on FM posted last thread, you might not even miss it.

I hate when people tell me to buy a game I'm not sure I really want, but Costume is absolutely great :) charming, funny, well written, just pure gaming goodness that has you smiling from start to finish. For that price, it's hard to deny that it's a great purchase.

edit: well... maybe not hate.. but I hate that I am so weak I guess and can't resist a deal. lol

edit: also.. wtf going at gmg. Well I got my email receipt for my payment.. but no key? I'm so confused.

There we go! Finally back home from work, I just wanted to thank everyone for this beautiful community that is SteamGAF. As everyone probably knows by now, I'm new to Steam - and I came to this thread by accidentally clicking on it. Then I got stuck in here.

I want to thank Credo (twice!), Crow, Martin, Panda (x2), Megasoum, Danielsan, Mike, Beast Legacy and EVERYONE else that gifted me games (sorry, I didn't write down all your names :_:).

But I want to thank everyone for the amazing fun I've had in this thread! It's been a great trip - can't wait to start playing games with ya'll who added me on Steam (Yoshichan on Steam ID!) :3
