Vote Qube!

Realistically I know it doesn't stand a chance. How cool would it be if this year on the last day you got all the sales you personally voted for but didn't win. :)

Guess they ran out of keys for Metro?

Anyways I really hope these community sales come up again. I voted Qube, but I don't think it'll win and I already missed out on Trine 2.

Super Meat Boy better not win. It's been 75% off so many times now, pretty sure it's been that price in every big Steam sale since it came out.

QUBE to win!

This.

SMB is on sale longer than it isn't. If it wins I'll laugh.

I'm sure the big forces (GAF + reddit) aren't that stupid.

Voted Qube as well. I like the logo. Also as many others have said, SMB has been on sale zillions of times so it doesn't need another one.

Not only has SMB been on sale plenty of times but it was part of Humble Indie Bundle 4 and was one of the bonus games in HIB5. Everyone should have it already.

Got my first Steam sale purchases today:

Alan Wake's American Nightmare: £2.99
Sonic Generations Casino Nights DLC: £0.33

Total: £3.32

Will most likely buy the Indie Bundle 2 before the sale on it ends. Going to wait and see what the daily deals are for today first.

Are the DLC included in the Bioshock 2 PC version?
Minerva's Den etc.

Have completed the game on PS3, very underrated game.
No, I think they said they wouldn't release them on PC.

Whooooo. Seems like it's safe to call it a night and the end of Day 2 for me. Voted Qube for GAF as well.

Total damages after Day 2: $32.94

Voted QUBE.

Hope it wins, then I don't need to buy the indie pack and end up with games I already have. Same applies if there are 75% off sales for Ticket to Ride and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.

Same here, with those two and the two Ys games. Hoard was already a flash deal, and QUBE is in the community deal running, so it's good to know that the indie bundle games could still show up in the daily/community/flash deals.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Wait, I am kind of confused about this - if some of these games are on Steam but also on GFWL is it possible to get XBL achievements or somehow activate it as XBL game too??

Achievements are shared between the X360 and PC in GFWL games, yes, but Microsoft has no SteamPlay equivalent.

Trine 2 (two copies)
HL2 + Episode 2
Mount & Blade (free)
Metro 2033 (GMG)
Alan Wake Franchise Pack

Total = £20.78 ($32)

Will definitely pick up the New Vegas Ultimate Pack and possibly Binary Domain if it's mega cheap. Alpha Protocol and GTA San Andreas were also on my wishlist but I'll see. Willing to spend another £20 (£32).

Yes to getting achievements, no to adding it to the GFW marketplace (as far as I know).

Voted for Super Meat Boy even though I already have it, because anyone who hasn't played it yet should be ashamed of themselves for missing out on perhaps the best 2D platformer of all times.

Why, EA?
Why would you discount Alice to €12.5?
That's plain stupid!

Anyway, I bought Alan Wake, hope to have a few hours of fun with that game.

For GFWL games, you won't be able to activate it as an XBL game, but if you login with the same Gamertag as you do on your 360, yes, you'll contribute achievements and gamer points to the same profile.

I have somehow avoided installing GFWL so far LOL maybe I will break down and install it...I don't care about it appearing in the client, I just want the achievements...

I'm with cpp_is_king. I own Super Meat Boy and I know most of you do too, but that's the game that deserves to get the community choice sale.

Unless the flash deals just end up as daily deals anyway, which they almost certainly will given the length of the sale...so they are just giving people more chance to buy now. People can still miss a day's deals too.

Day sales are easier to get a shot at, at the very least.

Plus, in this case, this was a Capcom game. Capcom games rarely go on sale AFAIK.
