Well, I played some Dark Souls and... I can't say I find the experience of dying over and over, having to redo the same sections countless times and not making pretty much any progress in like an hour particularly enjoyable. :/

To be serious though, Dark Souls is enjoyable because it's a challenge. Triumph is nothing without suffering!

It's okay. Surprisingly okay storyline. Combat noticably glitchier than the rocksteady incarnations but no so much as to stop a casual playthrough. Shitload of collectibles.

I guess my problem is not so much the difficulty but the fact you have to redo whole chunks of the game over and over. It becomes mind numbing after a while.

Just out of curiosity, when someone is randomly selected from a winning team to receive three games from their wishlist, do they get their top 3 games or does Steam randomly select from the list?

One can only dream... ;)

Pretty much what you'll be doing until it's over. Although, if you stick with it you'll get better and find yourself doing that less.

My strategy is to fight everything in the area the first time through and then if I die, I just run through that area every time after :p

I mean it wouldn't be much of a punishment if it just let you waltz on blithely into even harder areas would it
