Btw. I played some Agarest 1 this weekend (with the walkthrough to get the true ending)...

While I really like the VN parts, the gameplay is soooo boring. I like the NIS games. Whether its La Pucelle, Disgaea and all those. But the battle system in Agarest feels totally shallow.
There are no heightdifferences on the battlefield, every battlefield is just a 12x12 field with different skins (forest, swamp, mountain).

Thief blows, MGS Rising is shit Ikaruga is Hentai garbage and a shitty fuckign 2d shooter, seriously though, for real, who plays that shit it's 20 fucking 14. Other two are indie shit.

Just loaded up Wolf Among Us. God dang does this game look pretty incredible. Liking the art much better than TWD. Already glad I picked this up.

Personally, I'd get MGR and wait for the rest to go on a steeper sale. Except Thief which I think is already 75% off, so get it if you want. Edit: No it's not. Don't get it either.

I'm throwing in the white towel. Just finished up idling cards for one last purchase. I ended up with Witcher 2, Bulletstorm, Skyrim, Ghostbusters, and Dishonored. Not bad for $20. Ghostbusters ended up being my 150th game too so...yeah. Back to normality tomorrow.

You could probably knock Thief off of there unless you really want to play it. It's not a bad game but it's not particularly remarkable and you could just wait for it to get cheaper, which it definitely will.

Seems to run fine for me (I'm on an iMac though) but the controller options are a fucking nightmare, at least with my XBox 360 controller plugged in. Might have to tinker around with that a lot. Or use my PS3 controller. Or hack the game. Or fucking anything to prevent having to use a keyboard and mouse to play it.

General consensus on here seems to be that Thief sucks, which is odd. I watched TB review of it, and thought it looked okay. I know it pales in comparison to the original though. Just interesting.

Today has been an epically awesome day!
I got my second interview at GameStop (set for wednesday at 5!)
and then got gift attacked unexpectedly.
It's been a very productive and wonderful day.
I don't think I've ever had a day this good.. it's weird.. I keep expecting something to go wrong. That's usually how things go.

While everyone's feeling so generous, I would just love to point out that Fortune Summoners hasn't gone below $9.99 for almost a year, that this game would complete the Carpe Fulgur collection for me, and that I have terrible luck when it comes to raffles.

I just bought The Fall. I haddn't have heard of it until after reading Toma's awesome indie thread thread, but it sounds really interesting:
