damn, I want Singularity. I am kind of hyped after watching that trailer on the game's store page. This game passed under my radar ever since it released. If this was $4.99, I would have bought without hesitation on impluse, but for $7.49 it's going to make me at least think about buying it for the next 24 hours.

Do you guys sometimes feel like you buy games over Steam only to end up collecting them rather than playing them? I have something like 200 Steam titles, but I've played only about 20% of them. This sale is killing me :)

First day that I'm not getting anything. I considered F:NV DLC but I realized I'm never going to get the chance to play them.

Here's to Metro 2033 and Stalker tomorrow!

Please someone tell me about RUSE. Don't just say its bad, or its good. Tell me about it. The trailer sucks and just has two live people being dumbasses.

For a small game nobody has ever heard of, having your rabid fans have an extra copy to promote it with seems like a winning situation. Maybe I am wrong, but it makes sense to me.

Yes, but the barrier to entry is extremely high for the solo gamer who has friends who might be interested but not enough to split the cost. There's a reason most no-name indie games have low, low prices: they rely on curiosity, impulse buys and word of mouth to survive.

Frozen Synapse at full price is well out of range to work any of those things in its favor. It's an interesting strategy, sure, but I don't think it's a very good one. Just my .02. I don't see any other indie devs falling all over themselves to follow the price structure and there's probably a reason for that.

Ok so I decided I really dont want another FPS.

With that said, how often is time manipulation used in Singularity? Can I spam it like crazy? If not I'll pass.

Anyone that buys frozen Synapse care to part with a copy? WTF they make you buy two is beyond me! Im at my limit and would grab it for $6.00 but 13 for two is too rich for me today. I still have 6 days to go!

Thanks kind soul :)

Oh in no way do I think the actual pricepoint of entry is good, but I do think the extra gift copy bundled into an indy, mostly multiplayer focused game is a great move.

Can't really help you because I've never played it, but the trailer just made me wish I had a Microsoft Surface to play on!

I'm going to have to go against the glowing reviews for Alpha Protocol

I really didn't enjoy it at all. Then again I played it on console...

Got fallout new vegas, would get frozen synapse but it's a 2-pack for whatever reason, oh well.

Aslo thinking about with fire and sword, are there mods for it like the original?

Mount & Blade: Fire & Sword is a steal for anyone who enjoy mounted combat. Horseback muskets <3 <3

Warband is also dirtcheap right now.

It looks like I'm not buying anything again :(

I tried Alpha Brotocol before, it isn't for me. I wish I would've liked it.
Singularity looks way too mediocre. Same goes for Homefront.
Frozen Synapse looks kinda cool, but I have no idea if I'll like it and since there's no demo I'm not willing to spend money on it. (that said; if someone is willing to gift me a copy because he's convinced I'll like it, I'm open to it)

I'd grab this but I still haven't put any real time into Warband and I actually hear from some quarters that it's the better game anyway. Truth?

Steam itself is a meta-game. Gotta get 'em all...

Anyone on the fence about Singularity... if you like Bioshock at all I'm 90% sure you'll like Singularity as well.

I was very pleasantly surprised by it. I have it for 360. At the price I'm tempted to double for a new playthrough once my new rig is built in super HD glory.

I thought I could avoid the Steam burn buying Doom Collection on day one. "No way the Doom collection will be a daily deal, it's already on sale, and it's too old and too long out of the limelight to be a daily deal," I said to myself.

Lesson learned, Steam. That's why Vampire and everything else I'm even considering is waiting until the last day or daily deals.

I can't attest for the singleplayer, but multiplayer with Fire & Sword is a blast. It has primitive guns/muskets, which quite changes the balance of the game and offers a different experience. There's room for both, and I'll certainly be alternating between the two of them throughout the years.

I'm feelin' that burn too dude...that's practically the same price Final Doom was all on its lonesome yesterday. Ya never know...

How are the NV DLC's? Compared to F3's DLC.. are they more like The Pitt or Mothership Zeta (crappy) or more like Point Lookout which was totally awesome?

Alpha Protocol was on my list, so I picked it up.

Day 1 (06/30/11):
Back to the Future ($12.49)
Lead & Gold ($1.50)
Medal of Honor ($10.19)

Day 2 (7/01/11):
Just Cause 2 + All DLC ($7.22)

Day 3 (7/02/11):
Magicka Complete Pack ($8.49)

Day 4 (7/03/11):
Torchlight ($2.99)
Tropico 3 Gold Edition ($4.99)

Day 5 (7/04/11):
Alpha Protocol ($4.99)

Frozen Synapse and Trine bought. Will take the rest of the day to decide if I will spend money on the Doom collection.

Interesting...thanks! I'll mull it over. If not now then I'm sure I'll buy it during the winter sale. Only reason to buy it now would be the hints here and there this year that price drops are getting to be less and less staggering over time.
