Hey, just FYI y'all. It seems that Foreign Legions now crashes every time you complete a mission, so play it windowed to be on the safe side when you're getting the ticket. Your progress is still saved, even though you have to kill the task and reload the game.

I'll admit... I have a man crush... didnt think of it that way. So what does it mean if I was duel wielding my sabers and he only had one? :)
It means that Nathan Fillion only needs one! And that you're the villain in a world where Nathan Fillion fights with light sabers. :)

Civ V for £15 when it was £6.78 on GG a few days ago

Ouch.

Will pick up the DLC but that's it

NFS pack on sale but not the games seperately?

smh EA

So glad I got it at gamersgate, but I don't think the DLC are worth it.

Okay GAF, which one do I play first. Call of Pripyat or Shadow of Chernobyl? :p
SoC to get used to the world and the controls. I really enjoyed Vanilla SoC the first time around, but the Complete Mod is just amazing.

Where were you about a month ago when they had the EA week of sales?
Same as the past 21 years: living in Europe, a region that EA thinks does not deserve sales. Apparently. Those Origin-sales were US-only.

Never played any of the Stalker games, kinda want to save myself some money by just picking of CoP. Bad idea? Should I just get the first Stalker instead?

Guarantee I'm going to screw up this post? Yeah.

Uh like the best PC shooter of all time.

You should start with Shadow of Chernobyl ideally, but fucking hell, Call of Pripyat is a no-brainer at that price.

I think about a billion people would disagree with that.

Anyone played Wings of Prey with a 360 controller? How is it? I also have an old sidewinder controller but I dont think it would work very well honestly.

King Arthur has to be a mistake, 33% seems like a pretty low discount for a daily, for a game that's not a recent release.

Edit: And it just switched to 85% off.

Ah dammit, I got COD4 from D2D cause I figured that Steam probably wouldn't match the price of $10, and sure enough, there it is. Oh well, what difference does it make.

That Civ5 deal is really week considering it was going for around $12 at GamersGate.

For now, I'll just get STALKER: clear sky.

The must plays of this sale: STALKER pack and Deus Ex. Awesome games for dirt cheap.

YAY Stalker is on sale again! I won't miss it this time.

Only other Stalker game I've played was Clear Sky. I didn't like it very much at all tbh. I'm willing to try this one with an open mind + the complete mod

Is there enough single player / small group co-op gameplay to make Guild Wars worth a purchase at this time? Also, is Eyes of the North worth picking up on top of the trilogy?

I've heard that it was a big competitive game for a long time, but wondering instead if there's some good MMO-lite adventuring to be had for cheap. Does it still hold up?

Only if you didn't like the other ones, heathen.

Hey, don't look at me! Clear Sky was heavily disparaged the past couple days.

Euro-GAF: Civilization V GOTY including some of the DLC is cheaper (£17.99 / €22.49) at play.com, including shipping, than the base game on Steam. Activates on Steam.

Want Hot Pursuit...but don't want to buy the entire pack.

I think I may be safe today, first sale I won't be getting anything.

I would recommend picking up Guild Wars. $15 for all three campaigns is a great deal and playing through all three will take some time. The PvP is loads of fun and community is still very active. It gives you the freedom to play through solo with bots, in which you can customize to your liking, or to tackle missions and matches with real people.

I've put over 1500 hours into the game and still feel an urge to hop on and play every once and a while.

The game's art style and graphics are also very well done, especially when it can run on most PCs.

Orellio, I thought Shadow of Chernobyl was the must-have STALKER game? Which one is that has a bunch of mods? I've seen some REALLY impressive mods.

If there ever was a game that all PC gamers should own, it is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It is the game that shows what FPSs can be when they are designed for pc.

I've said this before, but I believe that if this game had been a little more polished, and had GSC Game World implemented all the features they showed in their early demos, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. would have become the top dog of single player FPSs.

Clear Sky is widely regarded as the runt of the franchise. The other two are fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.

Honestly I consider Call of Pripyat on par with Deus Ex and the Half-Life series. It's that good!

No Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition pre-loading has me bummed. Means I can't play it when it's released in an hour. At least it's only 4.5 gigs though.
Wait, it's released today? I thought it was the 9th.

AI War Alien Bundle (base game + all 3 expansions) for $4.49 is a crazy good deal. Game's never been anywhere near this cheap that I've seen.
It should be noted the prize you can get for 3 tickets from the wording is one of the expansions so if you get the bundle; don't bother with that prize.

Well off to try the demo of AI War (getting the ticket for playing a demo in the process) to see if its my thing.
