Is Last Remnant good?

Story is embarassingly bad as is standard for JRPGs. Team building and strategic battles can be pretty fun, though, which I suspect is what's behind the game's popularity. Small things like the character's run animation bug the hell out of me. Probably worth $10. I definitely wouldn't want to pay more than that (even though I have. For the inferior 360 version no less.).

I think I'll go in on Mass Effect 2 for 6.80$. I said 4.99, but as I've said too. I'm a whore this sale. Cheapest it will get anyways with be 4.99.

The one I'm having trouble with though is Universal Sandbox. I think it looks really fucking neat and definitely give the demo a try.

2nd though, I'll hold out on that one either way.

I literally just activated DoWII Gold Edition on Steam two nights ago after buying it off Amazon. Weird thing is I'm in USA, but the box said PEGI 16. Either way it worked. There's a steam thread that shows they had problems with those retail keys at first, but it was fixed soon after.

Again, I can 100% guarantee it for all regions, but it worked for me two nights ago.

Thanks for this! Was worried about non Steam activation, really don't want to deal with GFWL. At the moment, Gold Pack on Amazon UK and Steam are about the same price for me so hopefully it will become a daily sale, would be happy with just -66% instead of -33%.

I was under the impression it was bad, and one of the only reasons people are playing on PC is the fact that there's hardly any other JRPG's to play. Isn't Last Remnant the game with some of the most annoying looking/sounding characters in a while? maybe I'm getting it mixed up with that other JRPG that came out on the 360 around the same time.

Shit I'm running on empty almost for the last day, and this is assuming the final day is a recap...if it's not I'm totally fucked. I only have $20 left and $13 put away for bloodlines.

Also about how long is last remnant? standard 40+ hours for a jrpg?

Mafia is one of my all time favorite games, 2.49 to have it on Steam is a no-brainer for me. Also time to get Amnesia finally.

If I already have Empire, is it worth getting the GOTY pack just for Napolean? Is that game any better than Empire?

Yes. The story is eh whatever, but the combat is really, really awesome. I really highly recommend it.

No, I don't think there has ever been a sale on Bioware space bucks. I have been hoping they would come out with an equivalent to the Dragon Age Ultimate Edition for Mass Effect 2, but no luck so far. I might cave someday and just finally pick up Shadow Broker.

i set it to use the Japanese voices, therefore i didn't know if it was terrible. i liked the music as well.

I had issues with it crashing fairly regularly, but I just made heavy use of quick save. Didn't stop me from putting 60 hours into it and beating the game + all DLC.
