Zerokku said:So are the Fallout NV DLCs worth it?
Sagitario said:Wait... you used a MX credit card, put a US bulling address... and it worked?
Wallach said:For three bucks a pop? Hell yeah.
Scythian said:Yep, the game's sitting in my Steam library right now.
Sagitario said:Weird (and nice, I guess )... never thought it could work cause the site automatically detects the card as non-american.
Gez said:If your living outside America I can 100% confirm Dawn of War 2 Retribution works and activates fine on Steam without the use of a VPN or proxy.
I had to put in a fake us address to purchase though. Downloading now as we speak, and I'm in Australia!!!
Steam was selling it for $30 (-50% off 60USD) haha
BUY IT NAO!!!
Bentendo said:So, I accidentally purchased Rome: Total War Gold without realizing there was a Rome: Total War complete available for the EXACT SAME PRICE. Is there anyway to return a game if I haven't downloaded it so that I can get the better version, or am I screwed?

Use CA 90210 for the state and zip code.
darkwing said:so is Fallout:NV worth it? i couldn't finish FO3 because of the bugs
Artofwar420 said:You could try contacting steam customer service. I don't know what's their policy on these thing though.
Callibretto said:is there a proper story and ending for Magicka? I always wary with these co-op games because I most likely play them alone, and if it's just a series of matches with minimal story and ending, I'll never be motivated to finish them.
Not if you're awesome.Pankaks said:Not really, I mean there is a big baddy that you learn about towards the beginning but that's about it.
Also, don't buy Magicka if you plan to play it alone. The game is at its best when you're with 3 friends killing and reviving each other. If you play it alone, you will quickly become frustrated.
Callibretto said:I've just started playing new vegas, and it's great so far, haven't encounter any crashing bugs so far and I'm 13 hours playtime according to Steam. for the game itself, well, I love Fallout 3 until the final sequence which imo, totally sour the whole experience. it starts off slow in New Vegas, but as soon as I move away from the first town, I get to love it all again. now I hope the story gets better or at least not getting worse like FO3

I'm still debating on getting the gold edition. I like all my game series complete. So I might bite.
I would say no. The Titan Quest and Metro get pretty cheap often enough and I don't doubt Homefront will as well in a 6~12 months.bucknuticus said:I'm debating whether to buy the THQ pack, I have all the COH, stalker, darksiders, DOW2 (none expansions), Saints row 2, Red faction, and titan quest on discs. Cant decide if I shoudl get this apck for titan quest on digital, DOW2 expansions, metro and homefront.

Yay or nay?
Toma said:Nay, I bought it on release day because its a game by Jason Rohrer who deserves money to make awesome game ideas, but this game was kinda.. meh.
Its not bad per se, actually the idea is really interesting, but the total lack of progression, levels, save system just leaves a serious feeling of it being a tech demo more than anything else. Not worth the asking price.
Pandoracell said:Thanks, that was one thing that was unclear to me from watching videos. I couldn't tell if there was any kind of goal or point to what was going on, or if difficulty just gradually ramped up. I still think the idea is interesting, but for over $5, i'm not so sure.

coopolon said:That doesn't seem like a very good deal, primarily because Homefront is the premiere game right now in that pack and it's probably not worth it (I base this purely on internet impressions, I've never played it, just the developers last garbage game before Homefront.)
