Thinking about Borderlands, but I'd probably only play it Solo. Is the DLC worth the extra $2.50?
Definitely. I thought it was worth the $10 each I paid on 360 when it was coming out, except for Mad Moxxi which you SHOULD NOT play if you like fun.

Was hoping Space Chem or Super Meat Boy would go back on sale. Oh well.

I think today I'll just pick up the Oddboxx. I've always wanted to play those games.
I'm sure they'll be on sale again, but how have you not bought meat boy already? It's been on sale like half a dozen times.

Yeah, Mad Moxxi is mind-bogglingly awful. You'll have more fun browsing the bank than doing the arenas. The other three are quite good, though.

So I have a weird problem, when I purchased Civ 5 from Gamersgate I downloaded the game using the code it supplied by registering it on Steam. Now, someone else in this thread did the same thing and noticed that they still have a Mac copy that can be gifted, I think someone bought it off him. So would these Mac copies be registrable on Steam, they are Steamworks?

If that is the case that they can be registered on Steam (or if not a someone is after just a Mac copy) then I have 2 that I wouldn't mind trading.

Anyone have any idea?

I have about $15 left to spend and can't decide between Vampire - Bloodlines or the Fallout collection! Choices!

Bloodlines. You can pick up the Fallout games cheaper on GOG.

Worked for me, but the only way to find out is trying.

Are you outside the US? Did you need a VPN or proxy IP to activate it on Steam? Because i know people had troubles activating Mafia 2 outside the US when it came to an Amazon copy of it.

Last call to buy these extra games I have. I'm selling them for how much they were when they were a daily.

Counter-Strike Source
Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
Monday Night Combat

PM me if you are interested.

It looks like it but I don't want to waste the 2nd copy testing this.

I'd swap my extras (Terraria and CivCity:Rome) for any of those except L4D2. Just throwing it out there.

Because Bizarre are awesome and the SP is still solid?

I played through most of the SP on 360. I traded that in a few weeks ago but had the need for some Blur action once again. I love the SP but the MP is fantastic in this game. Damn, regret trading it away for 360. Will buy again on the cheap.

Some of the puzzles in Machinarium are a little obtuse. Mainly speaking of the ones when you first get to the city. The in-game walkthrough didn't even help lol.

Interested in knowing this as well....
The Amazon page says "Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address." beyond that I have no idea.

Cheap. I've been developing very good willpower when it comes to Steam. Unless the game is an "omg NOW" purchase on the deal, I don't get it. It's as simple as that.

Haul:

Half-Life: Blue Shift and Opposing Force

For the price, I couldn't say no. Finally rounded out my Half-Life collection. I played about half of OF and the first few hours of BS back in the day, but never got around to completing. These two titles will sit in my backlog for a long while, I know, but that's okay.

Jamestown x2

Purchased and played to the end of mission 3. Immediately quit and purchased a copy for my current lover. Fantastic game. Quite possibly the greatest aesthetic in a videogame ever.

Portal 2 and The Final Hours of Portal 2
Was waiting for a sale price on this one; got a sale price.

Terraria

Wasn't even going to bother, but GAF convinced me otherwise. Here's hoping it's up to my personal tastes.

I also received as a gift Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, which I'll be very excited to jump into once I'm done with Portal 2.

I very almost bit on X3: Terran Conflict, but decided to delay such a huge game for the Xmas sale. After a moment of deliberation, decided I'd do the same with Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, too. Really, I'm wishing for a GoG release for VM:B.

Also picked up Arma II (singleplayer and multiplayer) for free from Green Man Gaming using the voucher THESU-NFREE-ARMA2. I advise you all do the same.

I already know you can buy it with a fake US address, just activating it is my concern.

The choice is obvious.

I gifted it to my own account, without thinking about the fact that I don't have a MAC so I have no way to test this. Any Gaffer with a MAC who I can hopefully trust willing to see if downloading it from my account gets a registration key?

I have a Mac, I just didn't want to waste it, but I have a 2nd copy anyway. So should I just select download? I'm hoping it comes up with a registration key right?

You're welcome to test it with my account since I already redeemed it and can't gift it now, that's up to you though.

I don't think it's the greatest ever, but everyone needs to play it. The art is fantastic.

Dude. Empire era British naval forces. In space. Played straight. How could that not be the greatest aesthetic ever?

Is it worth getting the Magicka complete pack, or should I just save the money and get the standalone game?

Word on the street is Magika and maybe Vietnam, skip the rest as it's just cosmetic stuff.

Dilema Dilema...i need help...

I have only 13 dollars left, but i want bloodlines, assassin creed 2 (not played the first, but I think they deserve and need not, do you?), Just Cause 2 and sactum(I know but im poor :()

What do I do?

-Assassin Creed 2 + Sactum or
-Bloodlines or
-Just Cause 2 + AC2 or
-Sactum + Just Cause 2

Need money :(

Anyway wants to trade NyxQuest, Defense Grid or Madballs in Babo:Invasion for Greed Corp or Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee?
(I Also wouldn't mind trading two of the first for A.R.E.S.)

Also I wonder what happens if you put this on your wishlist and win. Would you just get Lost Coast or would it gift you the entire valve collection?

Damn you Gaffers... Damn you all to hell! I had 2 games on Steam 10 days ago. Today I have 15. I know "Ignorance is bliss" but noooo, I had to read through this thread every day and buy a bunch of great games at crazy-low prices. I have no idea when I'll be able to play all of them and I can almost guarantee that I won't have more than 3 of these games beaten before the winter sale hits. Then I will be back here pissin' and moanin' at the end of that sale also. You have trapped me in your vicious cycle. Thanks a lot.

If I were in your position I would bite on JC2 + AC2

I'd say Bloodlines, JC2 has gone on sale a bunch of times this year. AC2 goes on sale regularly also, so the choice is obvious for me.

She wants you to get Bloodlines as well. :)

I'm extremely happy with my haul:

Magicka Complete Pack
Terraria
The Final Hours of Portal 2
Sanctum
Atom Zombie Smasher
AI War: Children of Neinzul DLC
AI War: Light of the Spire DLC
Monday Night Combat
HOARD
BIT.TRIP.RUNNER
Beat Hazard - Ultra

I've already got more than my money's worth out of Sanctum (Buy it now if you haven't already!!) and Beat Hazard and i know i will be going back to them a lot more.

Beat Hazard Ultra is the gem for me so far. Even though i really liked it in its original form, Ultra takes that foundation and builds on it to make a truly fantastic game. The perks system adds a lot and can really change up your playstyle.

If your living outside America I can 100% confirm Dawn of War 2 Retribution works and activates fine on Steam without the use of a VPN or proxy.

I had to put in a fake us address to purchase though. Downloading now as we speak, and I'm in Australia!!!

Steam was selling it for $30 (-50% off 60USD) haha

BUY IT NAO!!!

Wait... you used a MX credit card, put a US bulling address... and it worked?
