I'll have to give them a try. They're the only other indie RPG dev I know of besides Spiderweb, and while I've heard middling things about their games I should give them a fair shot.

Same. I am very interested in their games. Wasnt buying them so far though. I'll plan to rectify this during this sale :)

Decided to bite on Warhammer. I really don´t need more games now, but it was a good price for a 2011 Steamworks games that´s quite different from the games I already have.

I might not have time to play it for a long time but I bit anyways. It's probably the PC RPG of the year and I have to support that.

Not that you're not to be applauded for escaping Steam's clutches, but two opinions that the game is average is enough to sway you away from it? I can find two people who feel luke-warm about anything.

A lot of stuff concerning Arma II and "Arma X Anniversary" (Arma 1 & 2 collection) got added to the registry. I'd guess it could be a daily deal in the next few days or so.

it's 26 euros on zavvi and methink it will go even lower :X
so no offense, but i won't bite digital delivery at the same or slightly higher price :)

It will not go lower until xmas or if you live in russia or have a russian friend (because of location and regional income of the people there)

Now while this doesn't really prove anything, I found it interesting. So last years holiday sale thread was about 15000 posts after 11 days. After 1 day we've already gone past 2500 posts. The rate we're going, this thread will eclipse the holiday thread after 7-8 days.

I want the game but my backlog is huge and I'm not sure if this is something I will play immediately. If I bite now, I'm afraid I might see the game for far cheaper two or three months later when I haven't even started on the copy I buy today.

I need to set that up, but unfortunately some major titles I would want (Skyrim) aren't available for pre-order on Steam right now. At best I'd end up with things I only half want.

I'd slightly change that too

I pretty much agree that if in doubt don't buy: Unless sub 10 and especially 5 and under...

Anything over $10 though will eventually drop down to a cheaper price EVENTUALLY... even if it's not this sale, and you have to wait for a regular daily deal or the end of the year blow out.

PS: It's weird but looking at my steam wish list most of the games I all want are smaller more indie or indie like titles. Wonder what that says about me.
